Who else and when would the pressure not be on? The need for 24/7 sports news and updates is insane. Just not enough food for this big an appetite, especially as we enter offseason.

Orlando Brown Jr wants a trade. Wants to play left tackle. Also the donkeys released AJ Bouye. I expect more veteran cuts.

Hopefully, Belichick spends that cap money wisely. Look to see the Pats have even more cap space as there's speculation the cap will be higher than the $180 mill, and then might even be able to borrow against the next season's cap since it will be much higher than the 2021 cap.

I still haven't given up on this kid. Perhaps I'm just a glutton for punishment?

Is a FB really needed anymore... other successful teams don’t use one and wit( holes to fill! Is it a wasted body? this isn’t 1980 LOL OK my friend. Have you been watching the Patriots these past 20 years? Do you see how BB puts together offenses and defenses that can flex into different game plans depending on the opponent and the conditions? That since BB has been here we have always had a FB as an important part of the team - not always featured but always available? Here are some examples: Going back all the way to 2001: Marc Edwards By the time of the high powered, Brady centered offenses from 2007 on: Heath Evans Starting from 2013: James Devlin (rookie in 2012, starter forward). Devlin lasted through 2019 but was injured that year. So, yes it is not 1980 anymore. But BB has employed a FB on a consistent basis since his first day here over 20 years ago. If you understand BBs philosophy about rosters and about game planning and if you have been actually watching any of the past 20 years you will already know the answer to the question you raised.

Again we are looking in the past .... put a FB in and the majority of the times it’s a run.. Telegraph the plays much? PLus the league now is a passing league and FB is a thing of the past ...if it were t most teams would find a FB or use a fat guy which they do. Was just asking...ty for responding

Good move by Stidham. Jordan Palmer is doing pretty good things. For me it’s not physical it’s mental. I remember the clip from Brady saying how he had to seize the opportunity when Bledsoe went down because he may never get another shot. Stidham had a chance to seize the job and he did nothing. No fire, no passion.

No fire, no passion. If Stidham starts for the Pats next year it will raise a ton of questions on why he wasn't worthy of starting this year. Granted if he plays great and wins games then bygones, but if he undergoes a learning curve and isn't that good it will be like, why didn't we sort this during our first down year.

I don’t think it’s new He needs to continue with him and hopefully it takes his game up to the next level. Jordan has been working with a lot of the young talent in the league, Mahomes, Watson, Allen, Burrow and I believe has been working with Trevor Lawrence.

I still haven't given up on this kid. Perhaps I'm just a glutton for punishment? Add me to the list. Stid should take a lesson from Brady and commit 100% to football.
This is a good sign that he's gonna put in the work.

No fire, no passion. I do not know but might it just have been he was unable to make the most of the opportunity due to not having developed the mental part of the game sufficiently? He may never be the answer but if he can speed up his brain he might yet develop. Some players just take longer... again, not saying he will get there but he should keep getting his shot each year to make the roster till he is beaten out for the back up role. I would say that if he is focused on making himself better as the story implies his chances are certainly better. The guy does have a strong arm.

Joel Corry @corryjoel J.J. Watt's request is being honored but not Deshaun Watson's because of the benefit to the Texans. $17.5M of salary cap room is gained from parting ways with Watt.

Daniel Jeremiah @movethesticks · 2h I've never been more excited for an NFL offseason. There is going to be a massive amount of cuts due to salary cap situation. We'll have QB trades & interesting QB draft class. I believe we'll see massive team swings from 20 to 21 season. Good to bad & bad to good. LETS GO!

I still haven't given up on this kid. Perhaps I'm just a glutton for punishment? I'd like to see him succeed also. But I think he's in the JJ Mccarron class. Great in college but can't deliver as a QB1
