Gronk would come back to say FU Bill! now, that would be interesting to watch if both Brady and Gronk came back on Patriots roster for next season.
On the other hand, what if both went to SF???

seems both of them would still say FU to Bill In your weird little mind, maybe. But I’ve heard both players speak glowingly of Belichick. And like I’ve said, we’ll never. Know how these men truly feel about one another.

the dude has been gone 4 plus years... cant we just let all the brady stuff go at this point (other than of course when he has his day here this june)? way too many people just need to move the F on lol if he came back you would be Juiced. no more than i usually am lol. and honestly, no i wouldnt want him back here under any circumstance.... ok... under one... somehow someway in the next few years, the pats made the SB and somehow every QB on the team was unable to play... if they could get brady out of retirement to play that one game, sure i guess id be ok with that lol. otherwise, no, it was an amazing 20 year run... but its over. its time to move on and get onto the next chapter(s)

I'd keep an eye on this rumor. Brady named the Patriots. The Patriots have the most unspent salary cap money in the NFL at this time, by a mile. The Patriots seem to be loading up on everything except they lack a starting quarterback. The Patriots defense is perfectly able and willing to hold up their end of the bargain. So, wouldn't this final piece of the puzzle fit?

Brady should stay retired and the Patriots should move on - period.

Brady should stay retired and the Patriots should move on - period. if Brady were to come back here, and the Pats did choose Maye at #3, regardless Maye sits the year behind Brissett or Brady, whats the difference?

I think I read somewhere Brady can’t work with rookies. 😉

Personally I think Brissett would be more willing but neither one will matter as much as the coaches do. I think the coaching element has been missing when it comes to the draft discussions. Every QB drafted needs solid coaching or they'll struggle. Anyway, thanks for bringing it up now and then, even if no one engages on the subject.

I would think the first guy to know if Brady could/would cut it or not, is Brady. if he is out there and it is not great, he will step away. I also think he would play for peanuts. how do the Pats not look into this immediately? how many players would flock to the team to play with Brady, and the Pats with tons of cap space. draft the teams franchise future QB at #3, regardless. that should have no bearing on going after Tom.

The obvious difference is that Brady will eat up cap space that’s better used building a team for success going forward not revisiting the past.
