Why not build around him and trade the McCourtys? McCourtys make very good money for 34 year old D Backs. No getting out of that one...or Chung a fellow 34 year old D back. Agree. I don’t think anyone would be excited about taking on those contracts considering the age

You can’t trade Thuney for anything at this point since he’s playing under the franchise tag which means he cannot renegotiate his contract during the season with a new team. So A team trading for him cannot re-sign him until the seasons over at which point he has all the leverage and they have none. A lot of players are traded under those circumstances. A contending team with a need at guard would love a Thuney for the stretch run. agree but they are not giving anything of substance up for him, otherwise they find themselves in a Laremy Tunsil situation. Not many GM's are as dumb as BOB was.

Get Edelman to Tampa anyway you can. He deserves it. Do him a solid. He has sacrifices so much for the Patriots. He deserves to another Superbowl run with Tom and Gronk...

They are 6 deep already with AB Brady would give his left nut to be able to celebrate # 7 with Gronk and Jules I honestly don’t think he would want Edelman very badly at this point. Jules is just too beat up to be very reliable. I bet Brady is just fine with what he’s got right now

The following is a slam dunk plan imo
Thuney to bengals for high 2nd rder
Gilmore to Titans low 1st and a 4th
Cam to Cowboys for a 3rd that we don't currently have(and watch Cam GO OFF in Dallas)
Then the icing...trade Belichick full circle back to the Jets for THREE 1st rders.
Then hire Kevin Colbert from the Steelers so we can draft actual talent on offense in this offensive driven league.
Begin "The Dynasty" part duex

Love the Cam idea but it’s completely ridiculous. No way anyone gives up anything close to a 3rd for him. The “icing” makes me think you are high on heroin.

You couldn't trade Cam for a used pair of cleats.

Also the uncertainty and shrinking cap next year really limits how many teams will be willing to take on large salaries.
We're left with teams only in the hunt for playoff contention.
Trade Gilmore and Thuney, get picks.

You could get 2 firsts for Gilmore and you’d never replace him. Our drafting track record isn’t very good as of late. It’s a trade down IMO.

If Bill still believes in his team then trade for this guy. We have cap and we have no talent at the position.

Cowboys are half game out of 1st Place, and they play the Eagles this week. They win they are in 1st Place. Stay away from stupid teams on Trades.

Trade Gilmore and Thuney, get picks. the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to a floor of $175m in 2021, which could be higher pending revenues higher than anticipated. currently there are 11 teams with over $30m in cap space for 2021 (including the Pats)
