From Merriam Webster:
Definition of schadenfreude
: enjoyment obtained from the troubles of others
Sure our favorite team from Foxboro is 1-2, and doesn't appear to be a very good squad (I remain optimistic, but that's due more to my mindset, than what I've seen on the field)... but, both the Buccaneers and Chiefs lost yesterday, and that brings me enjoyment.
We're on to Tampa Bay.

I didn't have them, but I'm pretty sure I had the Jets and Giants at 0-3 each. ***Schadenfreude***

We're on to Tampa Bay. Lol. I feel you MB. I will say this. Tampa didn’t look to good yesterday as a whole. I suspect they’re going to be coming with the idea of proving last week was an anomaly. It doesn’t bode well for our guys, but who knows, maybe we’re finally seeing that cliff/drop off that Max Kellerman has been taking about for 10 years. 😂

I expected the Patriots to be 3-0 . At the very worst 2-1.. they have holes, the o line is abysmal but their coaching has been terrible. They showed up for both home games completely unprepared and unmotivated.

I have a friend from Michigan who always talks about how the last time the Lions won a championship was in 1957. He also jokes about how the Lions always find a way to lose no matter what and yesterday was no exception. Here they are with their new macho coach and a chance to win. But with 2 seconds left, the Ravens line up for a 68 Yard field goal. There's no way the Ravens Kicker could make that kick and set a new NFL record right? Well the ball hits the goal post and goes in for a new NFL record. The Ravens win and the Lions lose.
Can you imagine what it must be like to be a Lions Fan? OBTW, of course former Lions QB Stafford lit the Bucs up for a Rams win yesterday too. Wow!

You left out the part the only reason Baltimore got to line up for 66 yard FG was because the Lions gave up a 4th and 19 that allowed the Ravens make the attempt.

I can't say I made any predictions one way or the other about any of them. But, if I studied Denver's schedule and saw NYG, Jacksonville and NYJ to start the season, I'd have thought they had a better than even shot of being 3-0. The others though, no way.

I am miserable I expected a team that would compete for a SB granted, I expected Cam to be the QB, and now we have a rookie I also expected a top 5 in league OL and D. I also expected a coaching staff that out coaches their opponent 10-12 of the 17 games.
for me, the season to date has been a great disappointment I was pissed about the Phins game and saw no logic to "it was like a preseason game" I took no positives for having a game handed to us by the Jets the Saints out coached and out played us. in every phase of the game.
Wozzy can go back and look at all of my posts about every upcoming game over the past decade. 99% of the time, I post a score prediction, with the Pats on top. I honestly expect Tampa to put up 40+ on the Pats, with the Pats struggling to score 20

I don't really give a damn about the Bucs -- one way or the other -- but watching the Chefs bumble around like the Occasional Vocational Technical Hair School junior varsity gives me a certain dark glee. Seven Super Bowls, they're gonna win. Easiest thing in the world.
