I gotta agree with thejuice. Improve the OL and other problems go away. Mac as he is right now can win a lot of games. The problem is we are basically asking a rookie to carry the offense on his back. The OL isn't helping him and our running game isn't helping him. Prior to the the regular season we all talked about how the team needs to support Mac and give him time to develop. We discussed how the team would be run heavy. What's actually happening is the opposite. Mac isn't getting any help. A rookie has to carry the offense on his back. Often when a talented o line looks bad it's due to poor pre snap reads and or miscommunication between the QB center and line. Missed protection calls and adjustments. All part of growing pains for a young signal caller. I'll repeat myself. You do NOT presnap read front stunts. Post snap handoffs by the oline on stunts/games have been the primary problem with the oline thus far. None of which is the QB's responsibility, in any system. That is not a protection a QB calls out. The QB is not up there identifying that the right DT/DE are obviously gonna game a twist on the play once the play starts.

You are the one who has narrowed down our problems to "front stunts". I'd say it's a whole lot more than that. You don't need to repeat yourself because you're apparently arguing with yourself? Communication between QB and team, center and rest of o line all leads to problems. David Andrews team captain didn't forget how to set protections. Pass protection is also the QBs job. Period. www.sbnation.com/nfl/2019/11/8/20954689/nfl-offensive-line-pass-protection-breakdown-mitchell-trubisky-bears

That is generally what you do when you are solving the problem. First identifying the biggest or Primary part. You must have missed that class. Notice I never said exclusive problem on the line.

I hope they start opening it up for mac and he finishes the season strong. Have to start trusting him more.
What’s the early word on these tight ends early? I feel like they have been disappointing through 4 games and that includes Henry.
