Houston should have declined penalty on Illegal shift, at the end of game.

Holy sh*t Judon just fall on it. That could have been ugly. I have no idea what he was thinking. Absolutely nothing good was going to come from that play. Actually, as long as the Pat's never gained possession and then lost it, that was a fumble and the only player who could recover it down field was the receiver who tried the lateral - anyone else on TX recovers the ball down field it goes back to the spot of the fumble:
If any player fumbles after the two-minute warning in a half, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If recovered by any other offensive player, the ball is dead at the spot of the fumble unless it is recovered behind the spot of the fumble. In that case, the ball is dead at the spot of recovery. Any defensive player may recover and/or advance any fumble at any time.

Ok, interesting. Still don’t understand why he’d do that, other than him being a 100% max effort baller. He could’ve risked himself to injury - although I know we’re not supposed to anticipate/predict things here - but it just didn’t seem like the juice was worth the squeeze.

I think you have to take your hats off to the offensive line, honestly, did they nit look better than the actual starting unit? Pass protection and run blocking. One game against a terrible opponent, yes, but they showed something in terms of at least not committing false starts, too many holding calls, didn’t see a lot of just totally blown assignments (and the same can’t be said for the usual suspects).

Have to clean it up. Enough of the effing turnovers. D will clamp down on a great Dallas O next week, though. That's just how it is. Huge shoutout to the OL. They did an exceptional job given the circumstances. Agree, but Dallas is up next. They need to take it to another level. Yup, they need the defense that showed up for the tampa game

I dunno man, I hear ya, but it was still against the #30 defense.

A win is a win. The team could have quit, but they rallied and won the game.
We get back the OL next week, hopefully Brown. Let's hope we get better coaching and we can win against the Cowboys.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about the O line today. They played well considering who played but the Texans defensive front stinks and the Pats didn't really run the ball effectively.

This guy would be a nice get. Turns out he is fantastic at forcing turnovers like he did today at the goaline.

30 attempts 126 yards today rushing. 4.2 yards a attempt. Fumble was the killer. Take out that fumble we win by 10. Eventually, the smart Football Fans will understand the importance of a Turnover.

The won a game when they didn't play all that well. That's a lot better than playing well and losing.

OT weeks like this around the league remind me just how great a BB rule change it was to move the xtra point back. 7+ misses already today.

There are losses you feel good about and wins you feel meh about. This was such a win. Don't get me wrong, I'll take it. And kudos to our OL. I don't care if the opponent was the Texans. They overcame a huge hurdle. But damned, dumb mistakes are killing us. And we have too many players on defense who looked like they'd rather be at the beach. Even McCourty joined their ranks this week.
In a way this probably shouldn't surprise me. This team has often played to the level of competition over the years. I bet since BB has been our coach we've had more ugly games against sucky teams than we've had against good teams. I'm serious.
