The defense played very well in many plays and just awful in others. I guess overall they played well enough to win. These inconsistent plays get our bile level up.

It was a big win. Division games are tough and there are no guarantees in the NFL either, just look at Atlanta losing to Miami at home. Wins are tough and to come from 14 down on the road builds character. Ugly at times but a good win and another step forward. That's exactly what this was, another step forward. If people can't see that I don't know what to say. All wins are good wins, but, this win was aided directly by the worst officiating call I have seen on my life .......I am a positive guy, but this Patriots team is NOT championship material

And yes, the past two weeks they have made improvements.

4-2 with 10 more to go and getting incrementally better each. As long as they keep improving they should be ok. A win is a win. They know they need to get better and I still believe they will. If they were 2-4 right now then I might be a lot more negative. your a fan so I can see why you want to be optimistic. Reality is they are not improving. They have played inferior teams the last few weeks then they did to start the season. Worst part is the offense has clearly regressed the last two weeks.

Yes, but they still beat the teams that they should. KC is a good team. Carolina, I'll give you that one. Not convinced they're good.
Think about it ... 10 more games, 11 more weeks and how many practices? All I ask is that they improve even just a little each week then we'll see where it goes. Every game can't be a blowout. They have to learn how to win the close ones too.

You know some folks here say that some of us only see the team with rose colored glasses. Not true. I recognize that they need to improve and that they have to some degree.
I think that some here are just seeing the team through shit colored glasses.
Not all wins are going to be things of beauty. The Jets came to play. Give them a little credit.

They have to learn how to win the close ones too. It's a different team without JE. They don't have their bread-n-butter O play available to them. That affects Gronk's impact on the game. It also affects the D because opponents are not being as one-dimensional as they have been in the past 3 seasons. They are still in the process of learning what their bread n butter plays are. Yet, they are 4-2. They won't win games this year the same way they have in the last 3 years. It's not going to be easy. I am confident in BB leading this team through the adversity.

Steelers vs Chiefs now. Rather have KC win and push the Steelers further back. Either way good game. Looking a bit further ahead, with us being 3 games behind KC, a KC loss would certainly help us down the line (with HFA). But, i do not expect the Squealers to put up much of a fight.

Patriots were robbed when Gronkowski was interfered with the second time at the goal line. That lead to Ghost’s missed field goal. Whole different game without that horrific non call.
How’s that take on the officials. 😉

Thought Van Noy had a good game for the d today. Better when he pushes up to pressure the QB. It was his thing back in BYU.

Guess what? The GOAT wasn't so great today but he was good enough ... And so was the D.

It will likely come once BB/Brady are long gone. I will probably leave the forum then. It won't be because I've quit on the Pats though. If fans are this negative in these times I can't imagine what this place will look like then.
