Really? The Pats did nothing? So it wasn't tight coverage and a better angle that contributed to that player stepping out of bounds? It wasn't great coverage on ST that contributed to that player trying to get cute? It wasn't a great effort that nailed him in the endzone? Sure it was a great effort in the EZ. Now tell me how many times you've seen the returner run backwards into the flipping EZ. Stupid! Guy stepping out was his own stupidity he had enough on him to make the catch. Was he forced out? IDK. Probably would have been interface, if so. Just admit it. The Pats got a lot of breaks because of Stupidity and still it came down to the last stupid throw to no one. It’s a week-to-week league. Wins or Losses are all that matters. For all we know, Belichick is playing very vanilla right now.

6-2 is not bad for a team with what appeared to be the worst D in the league, an offense that can't score in the red zone and a ton of injuries. I'll take that any day because all the areas they're playing poor in are correctable and I believe will be. Just have to hope for better luck with the injuries. If too many accumulate, all bets are off.

I’m pretty positive we all know they aren’t playing that way.

Umm you mean they would have happened if the chargers weren't stupid. The Pats did nothing to stop those two that were called back, the chargers did. That's my point. Really? The Pats did nothing? So it wasn't tight coverage and a better angle that contributed to that player stepping out of bounds? It wasn't great coverage on ST that contributed to that player trying to get cute? It wasn't a great effort that nailed him in the endzone? It is always the other team's fault they make mistakes. The Pats have nothing to do with how the other team plays. When the Pats win, the other team made too many mistakes. When the pats lose, the Pats made all the mistakes and the other team played horrible. Seems like some here think that way.

Bottom line, though, they are winning.

Pats are 6-2. In 5 of those 6 wins they held the opposing team to 20 points or fewer. By the aforementioned 'objective' logic that means that 5 teams were so inept that they lost the game and the Pats D had absolutely nothing to do with it. In the words of the immortal John Boehner that doesn't even pass the straight face test.

It looked like Bademosi had a better angle and position and Williams had to step to the left to get around Bademosi. Williams was basically pinned to the sideline. When he moved to run past Bademosi his momentum carried him out of bounds. This was not a boneheaded play by the Chargers in the sense that had he not gone out of bounds he never would have gotten in front of Bademosi and never would have been in position to catch the ball. He never would have caught that TD without going out of bounds. Of course, I lack the "objectivity" of some lol.

You are not with the program! IAW the Supreme Court of Objectivity we are not winning. The other teams are losing.
