The likelihood of an en banc hearing or an appeal to the Supreme Court is very low. I suspect the NFLPA makes the request, but I have a feeling it will be quickly denied.
This has nothing to do with "renegade Democrats." Labour law is simply not all that strong in the US. Yeah, labor law is so weak in the US that two of the 4 judges that rendered decisions on this case slapped management down. Get a clue, prostate0sphinctoid.

I don't think saying labor law is not that strong in the US compared to a lot of other developed nations is that controversial of a statement.

Shaughnessy's piece is reminiscent of Mad Dog Russo's interview on D & C on WEEI. The difference being the former is an agenda-driven hack and the latter a yapping fact-ignoring circus clown. It could not have ever been said better And listening to maddogs interview,as always, is curioius Last year Brady was guilty, nos Brady should just let it go, guilty or not And Bradys act of submission won't tarnish his record Tell it to Doyle and all the other Pat haters And I heard ad nauseum from these Bozos how if Brady were innocent He should do anything to proove it. But now they know there is no proof and They just want it over so that they don't keep looking stupid And then later they can say Tom was guilty coz he didn't fight it And by the way they are all still hanging on to the cell phone as guilt Boobs all

Some oblivious people need to get a grip. Four judges examined this case and two of them, including the 2nd circuit Chief Judge, did not see some overwhelming power bestowed upon Goodell by the CBA. In fact, it can be argued that one renegade democrat appointee is the entire difference so far. This entire case has provided a deeply disturbing glimpse into the skullduggery of modern American society. If the NFL is capable of running TFB into the ditch on the flimsiest of arguments, how can any working person feel safe in their job? The Powers That Be are selfish, greedy, self-concerned suits. This is not good, folks. No evidence, no perspective - just raw animal spirits roasting whoever they want. Who wants to man the front lines defending these a'holes?

Then AJ what do they do. They are going to put that Bozo Russo on their show @ 8:00 AM so he can gloat. Russo has admitted he never saw the Wells Report. He just piles on. So what do you have, all four of them over- talk each other. I said this, no you said that. But you said this. Just more dumb stuff. Although Kirk attacks him like a pitbull. That is always a good thing. My point is that I don't see a whole lot of difference between Shaughnessy and Russo. Both are clamoring for attention by being sensational and both either intentionally ignore the facts or can't be bothered to actually make note of them. I listened to the D & C interview of Russo. It was comical how quickly Russo embarrassed himself.

Robert Heinlein wrote "You can sway a thousand men by appealing to their prejudices quicker than you can convince one man by logic. ". This has never been truer than the entire Deflategate debacle. The Patriots were found guilty by the public as soon as the league leaked the incorrect psi numbers, and nothing, no matter how logical (ideal gas law) or factual (the league admitting they have no evidence to Berman) will change their opinion.

I would say that is truer when one is trying to have a discussion about BB the GM here.
