Yes I will probably keep those three. TFB what's going on with Sunday Brunch The Sunday Bunch league will be up and going again this year. I will probably activate the league by the end of this month.

Last year we had it set at 3 keepers per team. Early draft entry would be selecting only 2 keepers and entering in round 3 instead of round 4. I don't think any early draft entry was allowed last season, but I can't remember for sure. If most of us are in favor, we could switch it to up to 4 keepers allowed and also the option of only selecting two if preferred and entering the draft in round 3. I like this idea because if someone has only 2 players on their roster that they want to keep instead of 3, they can enter early and select someone else better. As far as allowing 4 keepers, that would be the max amount that should ever be allowed because any more can create dynasties in the league. For example if we allowed 4 keepers, I would probably keep Gronk, Freeman, Gurley and Michael Thomas and wave goodbye to the diva OBJ. So if someone only selected 2 keepers, they could have a chance to draft him in round 3. I think it would allow more flexibility for everyone. Its fun either way so i'm good with what everyone else decides. Cool, thanks for the explanations. I'm all for 4 keepers and an early draft entry. If early draft entry isn't allowed then I vote for 3 keepers. I'm for 3. Last year I got lucky due to the depth I had. I'm sure there were teams with a much better top 3 or 4. One question, if we don't have the same number of teams can one be eliminated?

I've never done FF. I'm usually not around on Sundays when you guys draft. Would I be able to put a list together so that I could just get the players that are left on my list in order?

Yes I'm a poor loser. I was 11th last year only because patseng quit early. keeping the potentially best 48 players out of the draft doesn't give me or others much chance of getting a good team. If any of you see even one player on my team I should keep let me know. I wonder how many will be back, we may not have enough to have a league. Homefield maybe you should drop a reminder on the main board to check the fantasy site. Ha ha and gives slgdev fits. Yeah, the more I think of it, allowing 4 keepers might be a really bad idea. The quest for parity in the nfl is dumb but a good idea for fantasy football, lol. We'll keep it at 3 keepers max for this year. As for 2 keepers and early draft entry, I'll set up a poll on the league website and let everyone vote. I don't care either way. Btw, Crabtree and Fitzgerald are good options along with Ryan.

We can switch to 10 teams instead of 12 if some people aren't back for this season. There are a few, I haven't seen on the forum for awhile, APpats, Irishmob, Freediro, BostonBruinns, and even PatsEng hasn't been on in a few months

Yes you can autodraft (adjust player rankings on the site before the draft) We try to schedule a draft time that works for everyone though. Its usually around or on labor day weekend. I think we drafted on a monday night before. If there is an opening (and I have a strong feeling there will be) then you'll be first in line to get it

Can you make trades before locking in your keepers? Absolutely. We don't have to lock our keepers until a day or two before the draft. So until then you can trade as much as you want.

So when I put together a list, how many of each position do I need? We just name whole defenses, correct? Not trying to get ahead of myself. I know I'm last on the totem pole, but just trying to figure it all out since I've never done this before.

So when I put together a list, how many of each position do I need? We just name whole defenses, correct? Not trying to get ahead of myself. I know I'm last on the totem pole, but just trying to figure it all out since I've never done this before. You'll inherit a team from a previous owner (you can change the team name to whatever you want). Since this is a keeper league and not a regular standard league, you can select 3 players from your roster that you would like to keep on your team and prevent them from entering the draft. So lets say this is the roster you inherit: GOODELLS CRONIES QB Russell Wilson, Sea QB RB Terrance West, Bal RB RB Rex Burkhead, NE RB WR Brandin Cooks, NE WR WR Brandon Marshall, NYG WR TE Jordan Reed, Wsh TE FLEX Lance Kendricks, GB TE D/ST Giants D/ST K Wil Lutz, NO K Bench Alshon Jeffery, Phi WR Bench John Brown, Ari WR Bench Carson Palmer, Ari QB Bench Bilal Powell, NYJ RB Bench Cardinals D/ST Bench Chris Thompson, Wsh RB Bench Mike Gillislee, Buf RB You could pick any 3 of these players to keep and the rest will go into the draft. You'll want to pick guys who get lots of points. Cooks, Gillislee and Reed would be good picks. Or you could pick Cooks, Marshall and Reed. If you can't make it to the live draft, you can autodraft. The site will do this automatically and base your selections on their own players rankings and your team needs. But, you can move players up and down on the players ranking list before the draft. For example, lets say you wanted WR Allen Robinson more than WR Keenan Allen, but Allen is ranked to get drafted before Robinson on the site, you can move them up or down on the list so that the site autodrafts Robinson instead of Allen for you. Or say you wanted Gostkowski but the site has him slotted to go in round 12 and you want to draft him before anyone else does, you can move him up on your list so can get him in round 8 or 9 (depending on how high you move him up). There are 16 roster spots total and you start 9- 1 QB 2 RB's 2 WR's 1 TE 1 Flex player (any player who is a RB/WR or TE) 1 Kicker 1 Team Defense Here is a link to the league site: games.espn.com/ffl/leagueoffice?leagueId=1413158&seasonId=2017I think its open to the public, so you can check it out Any questions, don't hesitate to post here or message me

So help me understand the bench. Points made by the bench are only added to your score if your primary is injured/not playing?

So help me understand the bench. Points made by the bench are only added to your score if your primary is injured/not playing? Bench points don't count. If your starter is injured or on a bye or just not playing well you can replace him with one of your bench players. Its important to have quality players on your bench just in case.
