And why again is the league so unfair? Because it doesn t create parity. I came in last for two years and ended up on the snake draft LAST for two years.. when a new guy comes in , is gifted three of the best players in the league then gets to pick #One in the draft?? And gets Barkley. And Juice you know I lobbied for some changes last year. Not Homefields fault, it wasn t set up right to begin with. You look at my team and tell me what 3 players you would keep. So 36 of the best players were out of my reach before I got a chance to pick. Frankly I joined against my better judgement because the league was short. And yes I'm a sore loser.
I think the best and easiest way to create parity in a keeper league is to allow people to select only 2 keepers if they want and enter the draft a round early. This way you could've kept Cooks and Goff for example and drafted Barkley with your first pick.
I brought the idea up a couple times before but it never really garnered much interest.

I'm in another keeper league where you can keep up to 2 but you don't have to keep any. So if you keep none you draft in 2 rounds where most aren't drafting. I kept only Brady and in the 2nd round I got Joe Mixon and in the 3rd Theilen. What ever everyone decides I'm good with. I don't mind your suggestion either Homey.

Same here. Its allowed in another keeper league I play in. It helps teams that have been hit by injuries and bad luck, to build their team back up.
Seems like a no brainer at this point. At least for next year to allow the option of picking only two instead of three.

And then like was said above, if u don't keep any, u draft in rds 1 or 2.

I think we'll keep the max keepers at 3 but if anyone wants to keep only 1 or 2 players or even none at all, then that would be allowed. They would then enter the draft depending on how many keepers they selected (or none at all)
I think its an easy change to make and it is the best way to keep the league competitive and fair.

To any teams looking to bolster their keepers for next season:
Barkley Elliot Jones Allen
Are available for trade, i'm looking for strong point producers with favorable match ups in the last weeks.
A quick example of what i'm looking for: E. Sanders (if not hurt) has 3 very favorable match ups in the next 3 weeks in the 49's, Browns and Raiders. So i would be willing to trade a guy like J.Jones for him. Either 1 on 1 or in a package deal.
If you have guys on your team that might fit that description and you're interested in one of the guys above, then hit me an offer.

There goes my chance of making it into the final.
Allen got hurt and finished with 0 pts. It will take a major drop from croc's team for me to have any chance now, and with J.Jones hurt it's not even sure i get to have any good pts him either.

You had a great year, it looked like you were going to win it all. Its sucks when injuries happen right before or during fantasy playoffs. I have Allen and Gordon in another keeper league and lost last week. First time in 3 years I won't be playing in the championship in that league, lol

thx, it was fun, but to be honest i started the league with the difficulty settings on easy, 3 great keepers + the top pick, managed to scoop Barkley and trade Bell away for JJones, which proved to be a smart move, hard not to have a good season with that kind of handicap

Croc, nice job with an impressive playoff run!
I've never seen the championship end in a tie, lol. I thought Croc won at first because he had more bench points but for the playoffs they go by best regular season record to decide a tie.
Thanks to everyone for playing and have a Safe and Happy New Year!!
