After reading the second page, I see it was prolate the snowflake who went all the way up to proboards to tattle. You bring up politics on a daily basis (including your footer) on a football message board then tattle when you think somebody crosses the line. You are an absolute weasel on top of being a massive hypocrite. gee this isn’t harassment or in violation of the code of conduct. Yup this only happens in the political threads 🤦🏻♀️ I don’t report people but I sure wouldn’t consider someone that did the problem. Man, your reading comprehension is still awful. Where did I say that it only happens in the political thread? Where did I say that I care about the code of conduct? As far as I'm concerned, this is an Internet messaging board where people exchange thoughts on football and can do so as they please. If somebody is being an idiot (see "patmando" in the 2018 draft class thread), then they can be called an idiot. If somebody is a hypocrite and a virtue-signaling phony like prolate, they can be called as such. I really don't have a problem with it. I'm once again pointing out what a phony prolate is considering he brings up politics on a daily basis simply to stir things up, then tattles when somebody says something that he thinks crosses the line. It is funny to me, too, that you were the one originally calling people "morons" and "BB ass kissers" when they were giving the draft class of 2018 their respective due yet now you're whining about harassment and violation of the code of conduct. Lmao You're in over your head, patmando.

I don’t believe I’ve ever reported any other poster to the administrator or to anyone else. I believe people should be able to speak freely and am not easily offended. The nature of these posts, however, was in my opinion, substantially different from the typical insults. They resembled death threats. I understand the poster probably just thinks he’s being funny and I assume he doesn’t know who I really am. Initially I ignored his posts of this nature (as I ignore most of what he posts). But as they continued I reported them to the administrator twice. When they continued after that, I reported them to both the administrator and to ProBoards and also publicly alerted the poster I was doing so. While I assume these posts are not actual threats I prefer not to take chances with something this potentially serious. Only when it became obvious that reporting “in house” to the administrator was not stopping these posts did I escalate to ProBoards. I am completely comfortable with that decision.

I think his politics are horrific, un-American and Commie as you can get, and yes, HE himself gets political on a regular basis. However, I'm not going to wish death or injury on him, that's crossing the line IMO.

Unlike you, I don’t hide from it and blame snowflakes. Your posts and certainly some of mine are in violation of the code of conduct. If you get reported, that’s on YOU for violating them. Deal with it.

If you go to a Political Board in today's climate and expect rational and polite discourse, you are either incredibly naive or incredibly dumb. If you go and are surprised to find a couple/few clowns who just want to agitate and insult, well then, you're probably both naive and dumb.
And if you go to a Political Forum to agitate, harass, insult and threaten - you're an asshole.
Finally, if you don't like what goes on in these forums...leave or ignore (don't use a button, actually grow a pair and be adult enough to NOT engage).
Please don't reply that you have a right to be there and feel safe, that's nice for the kids but this is real world stuff. If you don't want to experience what is rampant in that type of forum...don't go there. If you have to go into these forums and use your keyboard to advertise the size of your adulthood then you better be prepared for others to do the same. If you have to go to Big Brother to protect your rights and help you feel safe? That says more about the size of your adulthood than anything you can type!

since the offensive threats were made in the political forum, curious as to why the message/warning from the admin/OP was not posted in that forum? Point taken. This is the main forum where I would say probably the entire membership views. However, I have also posted the same thread in the off topic board. Thanks!

You live up to the RAT moniker given to you by others on this board Twsfan stop, just stop with this kind of post. All smiley faces don t make it right or funny. Please stop with. the name calling. You see their names and you post something like the above. You don 't contribute, you just insult. Again ,please stop I have 40 "dislikes" on my profile, and most of them are from him going around "disliking" something I said that had to do with politics. He even disliked what usmc said at the top of this page, and I have no idea what there is to "dislike" about that.

I don't believe for a second you felt threatened (and I am not saying I agree with the offending posts which I find repugnant)

what is this thunder dome? Why is there a code of conduct? You said he should have just left why is he here? The same question can be asked of you? Why are you on a forum that has a set of rules you don’t believe in? Why not go post on a forum with no code of conduct?

I don't get it. This is an internet forum. Cyberspace. Nobody here really knows each other or other personal information unless you're stupid enough to post it. Maybe that's why I never feel threatened by anyone here.
We're not friends. We might like certain posters because either you think alike or you appreciate their knowledge or like their sense of humor but nobody here are friends.
That said, there are rules that we agreed to follow in order to participate in this forum. I think most of us get a lot of leeway as far as those rules are concerned.

I reported three instances of it to the administrator over a period of about a month, and yet it still continued. At that point, I thought ProBoards should be informed. Ofcourse you did.

There needs to be a line. Wishing someone dead is crossing that line. If you want to insult someone, just post a picture of Colin Kapernick kneeling. That should do the trick. well nothing is said when he wishes the same in the military. Hmmmm double standard.

Mostly the politics are fine, even if the threads sometimes get hot. I disagree entirely. This is called the "patriotsfans" forum and that's where it ends... it doesn't say "and politics too."When I click on "recent posts" at the top of this forum, I am now subject to weeding through an endless trough of bullshit and vomit that has nothing to do with the Patriots or football. I have a hard enough time listening to a few ignorant posters talk about football and remain civil. Left/right, liberal/conservative, democrat/republican... I don't belong to either one of your cults. You're both equally full of shit and what is actually wrong with this country, it's because of those of you who fall into these two ranks that nothing will ever change. You're falling for propaganda, divide and conquer, and democracy died decades ago. The Constitution that posters are railing about was shredded long ago, and now is only good as a museum piece to show what this country used to be, before it became an oligarchy run by foreign bankers. Go start a "politicsfansforum" elsewhere if you want. And frankly I never cared until you threatened this football forum's right to exist, this is one of my few respites from the horror and noise of the outside world. Quit being a bunch of self absorbed and inconsiderate mouth breathers, go find somewhere else to play make believe. And I'm not just talking to Prolate, I mean all of you, I also mean the Mods should grab this by the balls and clip them off.

However, I would like to know the oligarchy of foreign bankers you are referring to.

tswfan: If you really want to know about those world Bankers? I will give you the answers (link) that will knock your socks off, about American history. I don't want to make this a political thread, although it has nothing to do with politics.
Just PM me and I'll give you the link that any true Americans will understand what happened. Supported by at least Three USA Presidents that wanted to kick their a$$es out from the USA. Shocking but true stuff!

A thought on whether to have or not have a political forum: if a political forum is not active on this board then I would assert that we will see political discussions creep into the football forum. I, for one, would prefer that political commentary be kept to a minimum in the football discussions. Great point, sir, but I suggest that politics and religion be excluded entirely from this Forum, except when they directly relate to football (e.g. Kaepernick). The Off Topic Forum does nothing but divide members. I also suggest that anyone posting anything purely political or religious should be warned and if the problem persists, suspension or banning should be considered. I also think that any poster going over the Admin's head to register a complaint is totally inappropriate and disrespectful.

And frankly I never cared until you threatened this football forum's right to exist, this is one of my few respites from the horror and noise of the outside world. Repectfully, I disagree. Pro stated clearly that he did try to keep it in-house by reporting it to the Admin on three seperate occasions without effect before going further. Maybe Admin didn't see that, maybe he disagreed the reported posts violated the code of conduct. I don't know. As it stands there is an off-topic section with a lot of political discussion, and as it stands there is a code of conduct we all signed up to follow. It applies to all parts of the forum. It's the one in violation of the code of conduct that threatens the existence of the forum, not the person who reports the violations. Deflecting blame to pro is shying away from the responsibility we all have to post within the guidelines. It really shouldn't be hard to avoid wishing death on others.
