Did we ever think no other NFL franchise would come along and be another dynasty? The Chiefs are the current king of the hill and have yet to miss the playoffs in 9 seasons. It happens. Patriots did what they did and that is history that can't be changed. Chiefs are writing their history. Only question: "How long will it last?". Did we ever think that there would never be another dynasty to match the achievements of the Patriots? No - but I don't think any of us expected that it would happen so soon after the Patriots dynasty crumbled. Well, with the start Mahomes has with the Chiefs, plus the largest horseshoe ever up the butt of an organization, things have gone their way pretty well these last 6 years. For example, the amazing stat that not one offensive holding call has been made against the Chiefs in all three of their SB wins!!!

Not only that, the Chiefs have remained, relatively speaking, injury free. Either they have a great medical/training staff, or they're unbelievably lucky.

Damn the Chiefs...they are a well run franchise. they sure seem to be. That it’s huge for them and for their continued success. They may be around the top for a long time now. What a huge deal for them.

The Chiefs have resigned 30 year old safety, Devin Bush. Though Bush missed a good deal of time last season, his interception in the AFC Title game was a huge play which helped to propel the Chiefs to the SB.
You see Ass-ante, that's what happens when you hold on and make those key interceptions in big games like SB 42, instead of dropping them. Bill would likely have resigned you for the big money you wanted, if only you made that catch.
But you didn't - and you weren't resigned - which gave you the life long case of sour grapes and hatred towards BB that you so consistently and ridiculously display.

The Chiefs are threatening to leave Kansas City!: It might be an idle threat, but it’s a threat nonetheless. If the Chiefs don’t get an extension of the sales tax that would finance a renovation of Arrowhead Stadium, they might leave Kansas City. (The Royals also could relocate.) During last week’s free-agency free-for-all (that’s my excuse for missing it), Chiefs president Mark Donovan made it clear that, if the upcoming public vote fails, the Chiefs could flee. “It’s really simple,” Donovan told Kevin Holmes of KSHB.com. “These are not new taxes, and you keep both teams.” The Chiefs already have mobilized, enlisting players and coach Andy Reid to contribute to a video aimed at getting people to approve the tax. What happens if the April 2 vote fails? I know that for us, the Chiefs, we’d have to look at all of our options,” Donovan said. Would those options include leaving Kansas City? “I think they’d have to include leaving Kansas City, but our goal here is that we want to stay here,” Donovan said. Its a stunning admission. But that’s definitely a way to get the voters to vote “yes.” At a minimum, they all know the stakes of not giving Clark Hunt the free money he wants. Could it happen? Losing the Chiefs? During the heyday of Patrick Mahomes? It’s not speculation or fan fiction. It’s real; the team’s president said it. So, basically, that’s a nice football team you have there, Kansas City. It would be a shame if something happens. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/kansas-city-chiefs

Who’s Rog why are you thanking him? The answer is in the article. Apparently, the boogie man, Roger Goodell was instrumental in keeping the Pats in Foxboro, instead of Hartford.

CB L'Jarius Snead Traded to Titans: The Kansas City Chiefs continue to mimic what the Dynastic Brady/Belichick did in to extend their dynastic rule, from 2001-2019. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is on the move and will get paid. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Chiefs are finalizing a deal to trade Sneed to the Titans. In exchange for Sneed, Kansas City is expected to receive a 2025 third-round pick from Tennessee. The Chiefs and Titans will also swap picks in the seventh round. Additionally, Sneed will sign a new contract with Tennessee that is expected to make him one of the highest-paid corners in league history. The deal is contingent on Sneed passing a physical. Sneed, 27, was a fourth-round pick in 2020. He appeared in 57 games with 54 starts over the last four seasons. He recorded 40 passes defensed, with 10 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 6.5 sacks in his four seasons. He also registered seven passes defensed, an interception, 2.0 sacks, and a critical forced fumble in 13 postseason games with Kansas City. The Chiefs franchise tagged Sneed, but also granted him permission to seek a trade. The fact that Kansas City signaled that Sneed was available made it seem more likely that the cornerback would be traded this offseason. Now after winning his second Super Bowl ring with Kansas City, Sneed will head to the AFC South. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-chiefs-finalizing-deal-to-trade-ljarius-sneed-to-titansCompare and contrast to the Patriots parting ways with CB Ass-ante Samuel in 2008 - as he went on to sign a 6 year, $56 million dollar deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs either would not, or could not break the bank to sign Snead - who Tennessee apparently are ready to sign for huge money. Had Samuel not dropped that interception in that gut wrenching SB loss to the New York football Giants, might he had been signed and remained a Patriot? Good job Chiefs.

Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is being sought by police in Dallas in an investigation of a major accident that took place on Saturday. The Dallas Morning News reports that a vehicle believed to be registered or leased to Rice was involved in a crash at about 6:20 p.m. Police are reportedly searching for Rice now. Rice grew up in the Dallas area and went to college there at SMU. The 23-year-old Rice was the Chiefs’ second-round draft pick last year and he had a major impact, becoming the Chiefs’ No. 1 wide receiver in the regular season and then setting an NFL rookie record by catching 26 passes in the postseason. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-dallas-police-seeking-rashee-rice-in-connection-with-major-accident

Here's more on the Rashee Rice matter: Police continue to search for Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice after a car registered to him was involved in a major accident on Saturday. According to WFAA.com, police believe the car registered to Rice was street racing with another car on the Central Expressway in Dallas. The two cars involved in the accident were a Corvette and a Lamborghini. The Lamborghini swerved into the shoulder and hit a dividing wall. That sparked a chain reaction, with six total vehicles involved in the crash. Police say the occupants of the Corvette and Lamborghini ran from the scene. Rice has not yet been named a suspect. TMZ.com has posted photos that purportedly show occupants of one or more of the cars leaving the scene. Leaving the scene of a crash results in much more potentially serious consequences for the driver, especially since the crash resulted in bodily injuries. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-police-believe-car-registered-to-rashee-rice-was-street-racing-before-crash
