McDermott sucked so bad that when the Jets first 11 lineman got hurt, he was still on the practice squad. He sucked just as bad for us. I don't think it's called poaching when the guy blows. "The veteran offensive tackle signed a two-year, $3.6 million contract extension with the organization that filled out his draft card, as detailed Wednesday by ESPN’s Field Yates.
The agreement, which was reached last weekend, includes a reported $750,000 in playing-time incentives for both the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Those bring the backup-level base value to a maximum value of $5.1 million.
You were saying? Was it that McDermott sucks? If yes, you'd be right. Looks like mgt agrees. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/patriots-release-ol-conor-mcdermott

Despite the conventional wisdom amongst the members of Jests Nation that the Green Goblins have had a spectacular off season and are ready to to kick in the Super Bowl door in 2024, there remain question marks. The offense should be better. The Jests have more depth on the OL, RB, WR, and now possess a decent backup quarterback in Tyrod Taylor. They also have an outstanding kicking game. But, can the 40 year old Aaron Rodgers stay healthy, and approximate what he once was? The coaching staff is made up of the same old stiffs. Carnival barker Robert Saleh is still the head coach, and the atrocious OC, Nathaniel Hackett, remains in place. Although the Jests offensive should be improved, their defense took several hits along the defensive line. John Meyers, pass rusher Bryce Huff and DE Quinton Jefferson are gone, and there remain question marks at safety jetsxfactor.com/2024/04/29/ny-jets-jfm-trade-question/And...there's still the matter of the reign of Murphy's law across the grounds of Green Gotham. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to my gold mine buds in Green Gotham. Draft grades at this stage are criticized for being premature. But the conventional wisdom that it takes 3 years down the road to determine how well a team drafted is outdated. So much money is poured into making each pick in terms of scouting and analyzing a player by a team and, to a lesser degree, even various draft publications, that determining the odds of a players' success can be better determined. That said, no one can determine for certain a players' personality, or his dedication. What needs to be paid more attention is a player's health - as injuries are the one thing that can warp the best laid draft plan. With these things in mind, along with the draft graders trying to cover their own asses by inflating draft grades for each team by at least a letter grade, here are the grades and analysis given for the Jests draft by various publications: www.ganggreennation.com/2024/4/29/24144566/expects-give-new-york-jets-solid-2024-nfl-draft-grades

Were the AOL reviews not up yet, so you felt compelled to find one that included Yahoo? Although there are some morons who would claim on draft week that a certain WR is the next coming of Jerry Rice, most non idiots know that it's mostly a crap shoot and a consensus top 5 pick still only has a 50% chance of being a good player. As I mentioned previously, the Jets were active enough in free agency to fill their biggest flaws that they were not pigeonholed into taking a particular player or position. Still, they were able to address their biggest needs. Had they taken Bowers with the 11th pick, I suspect that would have been a player who would immediately improve the team, but a far more likely boom or bust player in a position that wasn't as lacking as OL or slot WR, which they addressed, yet neither has to start on day 1. www.newyorkjets.com/news/2024-jets-draft-grades

How did Jests GM Joe Douglas land the WR of his choice, Malachi Corley? At the start of the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the New York football Jests still were without the WR they wanted to improve their passing game. Though GM Joe had made several attempts to trade up, all had failed to this point. Finally, GM Joe found a trade partner in the Carolina Panthers. Douglas was able to move up seven spots from No. 72 overall to No. 65 overall by sending Carolina their pick #72 overall and a fifth-rounder (No. 157 overall), which he had acquired from the Minnesota Vikings, to move up to pick #65 overall and select Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley. How did the Jests obtain that #157 overall pick (Round 5) from Minnesota? On day one of the draft Gag Green smartly swapped picks in the first round with the Vikings - allowing Minnesota to move one spot to pick #10 overall, which they used to select quarterback JJ McCarthy...by trading picks #129 and #157. GM Joe then traded pick #129 to San Francisco for the 49ers 173rd and 176th overall picks. This marks the fourth time Jets GM Joe Douglas has moved up to select a player in the draft. He traded up twice in Round 1 -- for Alijah Vera-Tucker (No. 14, 2021) and Jermaine Johnson (No. 26, 2022) and once in Round 2 -- Breece Hall (No. 36, 2022). This is Douglas' 11th draft-day trade, the most recent coming Thursday night in Round 1 when he traded back one spot, from No. 10 to No. 11, and selected Penn State T Olu Fashanu. Some nice work by Dougas. But will it be enough to overcome the Zach Wilson and Mekhi Becton busts? www.newyorkjets.com/news/jets-trade-up-third-round-2024-nfl-draft-carolina-panthers#:~:text=At%20the%20start%20of%20the,Western%20Kentucky%20WR%20Malachi%20Corley.

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham? Just like last year, Green Gotham is buzzing with Super Bowl fantasies about the New York football Jests - and just like last year, there's concern over whether the Jests patched up offensive line can protect the now forty year old Aaron Rodgers. Are these concerns well grounded? You be the judge - here's an article on the matter: The Jets’ offensive line is such a concern that it is impossible not to think about it and worry about it. If — and that is the two-letter word that means so much here — the rebuilt unit stays healthy, it should be able to give Aaron Rodgers the opportunity to show that at 40 years old he still has what it takes. Keeping this revamped group on the field is worth discussing, but, apparently, not by those who make up that revamped unit. It’s definitely not a topic of conversation,’’ Alijah Vera-Tucker said Wednesday. Yeah. Why talk about something that is so unpleasant and difficult to escape. “I think the last couple of years have just been very — haven’t been fortunate for us, for sure,’’ Vera-Tucker said. “Kind of things you can’t really control, out of our hands.’’ He should know. Vera-Tucker, a first-round pick in 2021, has had a difficult time steering clear of injuries. After starting 16 games at left guard as a rookie, he lasted just seven games at right guard in 2022 before going down with a torn triceps. Last season, back at right guard, he played 100 percent of the snaps on offense in the first four games, but in Week 5 he was lost to a ruptured Achilles in a 31-21 victory in Denver. This is a comeback year for him, and the Jests obviously believe he is up for it. This week they picked up the fifth-year option on Vera-Tucker for $15.3 million. He said he is getting strength back in his calf and lower leg muscles, and is running and participating in offensive line drills. “I can’t really speak on training camp or Week 1, but I can say I feel really good,’’ Vera-Tucker said. “Definitely on pace for a good start to the season.’’ He slides back in at right guard with a mostly new group. Joe Tippman, entering his second NFL season, is back at center, but three new veteran starters were acquired in a in a five-day span in free agency. Tyron Smith (Cowboys) was signed to play left tackle, Morgan Moses (Ravens) is back for a second stint with the Jests at right tackle, and John Simpson (Ravens) was brought in to play left guard. Given the age of the tackles — Smith and Moses are both 33, and Smith has a foreboding injury history — it was prudent that the Jests, with the No. 11 overall pick in the draft, resisted the urge to get a weapon for Rodgers and instead picked up a protector for him in tackle Olu Fashanu from Penn State. “I expect it to be a real great improvement,’’ Vera-Tucker said. Fashanu has already been in contact with Vera-Tucker, showing the 24-year-old that the incoming rookie is “gonna come here ready to work.’’ As for Smith, he is a USC legend. Vera-Tucker arrived on that campus to play for the Trojans 10 years after Smith left, and now he is teammates with the eight-time Pro Bowler with the Cowboys, named to the NFL’s all-decade team of the 2010s. “It was very surreal meeting him at first, now he’s in the O-line room, he’s my teammate now, it’s just kind of crazy to think about,’’ Vera-Tucker said. He has lined up and started games for the Jests at every position on the line other than center. Unless he is needed elsewhere, Vera-Tucker should have a home at right guard. It feels good, it feels kind of comforting, before we even step into camp we kind of know what the lineup’s gonna be,’’ he said. “That’s a good feeling. Get to kind of focus on one thing, make sure I perfect the technique and my craft at that position. I’m really excited. I feel I haven’t been at one position since my rookie year.’’ Asked what excited him about this upcoming season, linebacker Quincy Williams’ first thought was, “I’m really excited about our offensive line.’’ There’s a caveat with this, even though those on the line aren’t speaking to each other about it. We know what type of unit we have in that room,’’ Vera-Tucker said. “The opportunity is there, we can’t waste it. Everybody’s got to stay healthy, of course. That’s the main thing.’’ Of course. nypost.com/2024/05/01/sports/alijah-vera-tucker-excited-for-jets-new-look-offensive-line/But can the Gag Green offensive line stay healthy while toiling in the land of Green Gotham - where Murphy's Law reigns supreme? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham! Much is being made about the Jests 2024 3rd round draft selection, WR Malachi Corley, out of Western Kentucky. Corley put up some great numbers with the Hilltoppers - and led the collegiate ranks in yards after catch - which has led to him being referred to as the "YAC King"...which has some of the more delusional Jests fans envisioning the coming of the second coming of 49ers star Deebo Samuel. But, how realistic is this - or even of the more conservative estimate that Corley will emerge as an effective Gag Green slot receiver? Over the past 10 years, three of the Jets’ five wide receivers drafted in the first three rounds have been busts: Garrett Wilson, ED – Star Elijah Moore, ED – Bust Denzel Mims, NED – Bust ArDarius Stewart, ED – Bust Devin Smith, NED – Bust Here's more on Corley and the statistical average of successful WRs taken after round one: jetsxfactor.com/2024/05/04/ny-jets-ned-phenomenon-malachi-corley/Hmmmmmm...

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will play two well-known teams this year, Alabama and Boston College. Beyond that they play Eastern Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Toledo, UTEP, Sam Houston, Kennesaw State, New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech and Liberty College. Corley apparently doesn't have that much field experience playing against good college teams, never mind making the rookie leap to the NFL level by next September. He may have some value as a development project but Aaron Rodgers hit the big four-oh last December 2 and so 2024 is the fast-disappearing tail end of a win now strategy.
It's best to not worry about it, in three or four months everything will still be fine and dandy, it'll just work out because it has to work out and it's certainly too late to change the plan now. This is actually the nation's leading form of male contraception. In practice it's worked out that way for lots of dam lucky guys, at least so far this philosophy has worked for them. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Moore was a bust? Interesting. A malcontent, for sure. He has 139 catches in three years. But lets use your strange "bust" evaluation for our WRs. I suppose I should go ahead and include TEs, as well, as Bill was clearly self aware of his deficiencies of drafting WRs in the top 3 rounds and mostly stayed away in the last decade.
Thornton - Bust Asani - Bust Keene-Bust Harry (AKA next coming of Jerry Rice) - HUGE BUST
To sum it up - 100% busts. If you want to not include the TEs, then it's only 100% busts. As it turns out, MOST WRs taken in the first 3 rounds in the NFL, are, by your definition, busts. Weird. Not even having TFB could save the next coming of Jerry Rice from being a FIRST ROUND bust.

I've done a bit more checking on Corley. He played 90% of his snaps as a slot receiver for the "mighty" Hilltoppers. Did y'all know that nearly half of his receptions in college were made behind the line of scrimmage on screens? Nonetheless, this guy has talent, and can be a valuable player if used appropriately. He maybe best suited as a 3rd down RB than a WR. His size and physical build is what has led people to draw some comparisons with San Francisco's Deebo Samuel. As Paul said above, we shall see.

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham! The New York football Jests have been sued. It's part of the personal injury lawsuit stemming from the dumbass behavior of Green Goblin CB, Brandin Echols, about two years ago. Here are some of the details: A newly surfaced video shows the stomach-churning moment that New York Jets cornerback Brandin Echols loses control of his Dodge Charger Hellcat at 84 mph and runs a hapless motorist off the road, sending the BMW airborne, hurtling over a guardrail and into a field. Stephen Gilberg, 51, of Livingston, NJ, claims he became “partially paralyzed” following the April 26, 2022, accident, and is suing Echols and the Jets. The high-speed crash unfolded around 2 p.m. on Columbia Turnpike, near Morristown Airport, just minutes from the Jets’ practice facility in Florham Park, NJ. Echols received just a one-game suspension from this crash - though the Jests nor the league bothered to reveal the exact reason for the suspension - simply stating that Echols was suspended for one game due to a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy. A composite of two photos showing an April 26, 2022 crash in New Jersey and one of Jets cornerback Brandin Echols. Newly surfaced video shows moment Jets cornerback Brandin Echols loses control of sports car at 84 mph, runs motorist off road in horrifying crash Subsequently in 2022, the 25-year-old cornerback entered a three-year pretrial intervention program following a charge for fourth-degree assault by auto, in addition to summonses for reckless driving, speeding, failure to wear a seat belt, an unsafe lane change and improper passing, according to a story from the Daily Record in March. The April 22, 2022 crash left Stephen Gilberg “partially paralyzed” when Echols’ Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, allegedly traveling at 84 mph five seconds before the crash, collided with Gilberg’s BMW X5, according to the Daily Record. The impact allegedly caused Gilberg’s car to land in a marsh off the roadway, and the collision occurred two miles from the Jets facility in Florham Park, per the outlet. It left Gilberg, who was driving his vehicle, with broken ribs and “no feeling or movement in both hands and his right leg that required spinal surgery,” according to the Daily Record, and during a hearing 10 months later in Morris County, Gilberg said that the crash and injuries will “forever haunt me.” In the 10-second dashcam clip obtained by The Post, Echols, behind the wheel of the black 2021 Hellcat, can be seen attempting to pass Gilberg’s black 2018 BMW X5 on the left. The muscle car suddenly veers right and rams into the driver’s side of the Beemer, propelling Gilberg’s SUV over the guardrail. The BMW landed “upside down in a marshy area,” the victim said. Gilberg remained trapped inside the flipped BMW for an hour until emergency responders could cut him out of the vehicle, his attorney said. Though Echols was charged with dring 84 mph in a 50 mph zone, “the data recorder had him [at top speed] upwards of 111 mph,” charged Gilberg’s attorney, Nicholas Leonardis. Echols, who was alone, was not injured. The collision sent Gilberg’s BMW airborne, and hurtling over a guardrail into a field. The Jets are responsible for the negligent acts of Echols, Gilberg said in the Morris County Superior Court lawsuit filed last month. “New York Jets … did not exercise reasonable care in hiring defendant, Echols, as one of its players in that they failed to conduct the proper motor vehicle and/or criminal history checks,” the suit states. Echols “has a history” of reckless driving and had a “remote controlled license plate concealer” in the vehicle, alleged Gilberg. Such concealers are usually used to evade tolls and speeding and red-light cameras. A check of Echols’ Mississippi driving record revealed he had “four instances of speeding violation convictions, with one for going 15 miles per hour over the limit and a second for 20 miles per hour over the limit,” according to a police report. Echols also was issued a prior warning for flying down the same turnpike in the same sportscar, according to the police report. In that instance, Echols was stopped just after midnight on Dec. 20, 2021, by a Florham Park cop, who recalled stopping the vehicle “for traveling 82 mph in a 50-mph zone.” As for Gilberg, he was taken to Morristown Medical Center following the crash and had two spinal surgeries and amassed medical bills of nearly $1 million by March 2023, according to the claim. Echols has to pay Gilberg $1,200 per month in “restitution” until the victim’s $54,460 “out of pocket” medical expenses is reached, according Leonardis. “While I’ve made certain strides physically, such as learning to walk again, albeit not in the same way I used to, it’s the nerve damage and the pain you don’t see,” Gilberg said during a February 2023 court hearing. “The physical things I will never be able to do and the psychological trauma I am living with every single day that will continue to impact the rest of my life.” "This is a case of just complete disregard for the safety of others on the roadway from a gentleman who has been pulled over in the past for speeding in town. A gentleman who has a device that hides his license plate,” said Gilberg’s attorney, Leonardis. Leonardis, who declined to make Gilberg available for comment, said, “You have to be held accountable for your conduct. And I haven’t seen anything from any of the posts I’ve seen from Mr. Echols where he’s expressed one word of remorse. He’s never reached out to my client.” nypost.com/2024/05/05/us-news/jets-cornerback-brandin-echols-loses-control-of-sports-car-at-84-mph-runs-motorist-off-road-in-horrifying-crash-newly-surfaced-video-shows/The videos and photos of this wreck are contained within the sited article. A one game suspension is all that Echols received for this? Really, Heir Roger? Why wasn't this accurately reported by Heir Roger and the Jests as to why Echols got suspended? Could it be that the league used the generic "violation of personal conduct policy" to mask the soft punishment given, and so as to not add fuel to the lawsuit? Though what happened to this poor guy as a result of Echols' idiotic behavior is not a laughing matter, what is a laughing matter is that one has to wonder whether the Jests being sued and Echols possibly being given the boot is the "kickoff" for the seemingly annual foibles and strange happenings that seemingly accompany every Jests season?

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham. Now that GM Joe Douglas has splurged in free agency to revamp and rebuild his offensive line, Gag Green is left with virtually zero cap space. What are some of the ramifications of this situation? The Jests need help at safety. With only Tony Adams, Chuck Clark and Ashtyn Davis having legitimate NFL experience, a new name added to the group would be a good idea. Atop the list of potential additions should be former Denver Bronco Justin Simmons. But there’s another problem. But since the Jests are cap strapped, these veterans may be out of their reach. Even after parting ways with defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers to create some breathing room, all that really did was give Joe Douglas the money he’ll need to sign his rookie class. Currently sitting at just over $9 million in space, the Jests will virtually wipe that out and be at around zero when all is said and done. There are a few ways they could create some cap space however. First and foremost they could re-work the deal of defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. It would be a move that, according to the folks at overthecap.com would free up around $10 million. Then there are a pair of high performing veterans with one year left on their respective deals in cornerback DJ Reed and edge rusher Haason Reddick. The Jets could approach one or both about ripping up their current deals and coming to terms on a new contract with more years and money that will come with a much lower 2024 cap hit. If the Jests are hoping to make any more moves in free agency, something along those lines will be necessary moving forward. www.jetnation.com/2024/05/04/jets-in-free-agency-limbo-with-virtually-zero-cap-space/amp/So, despite the best laid plans of GM Joe, there's still plenty of work to be done to strengthen the secondary, and to add overall depth in the event of injury. Watch as the Jests scramble over the next several weeks to somehow, someway, secure cap space in their self proclaimed Super Bowl or bust season - as Joe Douglas attempts to borrow from Peter to pay Paul. LOL!!!!!!!!

Now that the draft is in the rear view mirror, and the biggest chips in free agency have come off the board, how are y'all liking those New York football Jests in 2024?
Gag Green's top want going into the draft was an elite WR, followed by an OT to back up their 33 year old free agent mercenary bookends. Did they really succeed, when you consider that the goal was to be all in in 2024?
They might have, but for one thing. They defeated the New England Patriots in the last game of the season. The fallout of that "win" dropped the Jests 2 spots down the draft board, from 8th overall to 10th overall. It also left the Patriots with the 3rd overall pick. As a result, the Patriots were able to draft a potential franchise quarterback in Drake Maye - while Gag Green missed out on WR Rome Odunze, who ended up going 9th overall to the Chicago Bears.
It will be interesting to see how that meaningless win in New England plays out for them.
Only the Jests can find a way to lose even when they win.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Offensive tackle is a suspicious spot for 2024. The Jets hired two grandpas, both at age 33, to play tackle, and then they drafted a wonderful future talent for 2025 and beyond but the guy has all sorts of handwork and footwork issues right now in 2024, plus he needs to learn how to coordinate with his new O-line at NFL speeds. Typically you don't play rookies at offensive tackle because they make mistakes. Now, if all three of these players prove to be rather inadequate, then the Jets are down two tackles and then Rodgers needs to be able to run at a full gallop like Mahomes, not trot. Free agency casualties for the Jets – holes that they aren't necessarily filling: C Connor McGovern 3 years, $22,350,000 gone OL Billy Turner 4 years , $28,000,000 gone T Mekhi Becton - Not in the Meadowlands any more, and the Eagles want to at least try him as a starting tackle. The third rounder WR is again a pretty good pick for 2025, but his writeup says that expecting him to play much in 2024 is a hope. Why would Aaron Rodgers expect any rook, but especially this rookie, to always be in the right place at the right time? Aa-rod will already be 40 years and 9 months old when he takes the field in September. At some point in their thirties almost all quarterbacks start to lose their ability to process everything quickly, which is why a 40 year old NFL QB is so uncommon. If everything pivots around this guy, well, anything is possible but some of us are doubters. Who does Aa-rod have for his magic guru? If you're not wondering whether he'll go down quickly and not get up then you weren't paying attention last September. Giants-Secondfiddle stadium still has that dangerous Achilles-eating turf. Does anybody expect Aa-rod to play in 2025? New defensive line holes DE Bryce Huff, "budding breakout star", somebody else gave him 3 years, $51,100,000 and so he's long gone from the Jets for 2024. DL Quinton Jefferson gone, 2 years, $13,500,000 New defensive backfield holes S Jordan Whitehead 2 years, $9,000,000, gone S Ashtyn Davis still a free agent. ST/CB Justin Hardee 1 year , $1,377,500, gone CB Bryce Hall 1 year, $1,125,000, gone Not a deep hit after Whitehead's departure, still, this pothole is kind of wide.

Who does Aa-rod have for his magic guru?
He doesn't need anybody. He has the quiet and solitude of the "dark" in which to ponder, wonder, and grow.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham! Though there's been much made about how thrilled the Jests were to land WR Malachi Corley in the draft, the truth of the matter is that the Jests actually liked, after Rome Odunze, was Texas's Adonai Mitchell: Jests Reportedly Preferred Different WR Than Malachi Corley Some more post-draft information was revealed about the New York Jets that suggests they were hoping to land a different wide receiver than Malachi Corley The New York Jets left Detroit after the NFL draft finished feeling good about what they accomplished. They got an offensive tackle of their future, added an offensive weapon on the perimeter, boosted their running back room, and took a chance on a low-risk quarterback. Based on some of the glaring needs they had, they addressed many of those concerns. Every year after the draft takes place, information starts to come out about the approach and processes of different teams centered around what they actually wanted to do and the players they really wanted to select. Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated has peeled back the curtain a bit on what the Jets were weighing in their war room, and it seems like their third round selection, Malachi Corley, wasn't their preferred target. "And once [Olu] Fashanu was aboard, their attention turned to receiver. Similarly, that call came down to a few guys. The Jets actually liked Texas's Adonai Mitchell, but got focused on the best run-after-catch guys they could find in range of their second pick at 72," he wrote. What's interesting is that it was already known New York had an eye for Rome Odunze and likely would have taken him with their 10th pick if he was available. He didn't fall in the draft, but Adonai Mitchell did. After being routinely mocked as a first round pick, the 6-foot-2 playmaker didn't hear his name called during Round 1 and had to wait the following day to get drafted. Unfortunately for the Jets, their next selection wasn't until the third round. Mitchell eventually was taken in the bottom half of Round 2 by the Indianapolis Colts with the 52nd overall pick. "And that's where Western Kentucky's Malachi Corley and Michigan's Roman Wilson came into focus, with Corley getting the edge because, where both were wired the right way and competed, he was 30 pounds heavier and, accordingly, played with more violence," Breer added. www.si.com/nfl/jets/news/new-york-jets-reportedly-preferred-different-wr-than-malachi-corley-brad9

In a related note, they had hoped to pick up Caleb Williams in the 5th round, but alas, he too was gone. So, they got their second favorite QB, Jordan Travis. You just never know with the draft.

Good morning to all my posting pals, and greetings and felicitations to y'all in Green Gotham! Canadian police say they are searching for former Jets defensive back Darryl “Buster” Skrine after he missed a court date relating to bank fraud allegations that were levied last year. Skrine was arrested last August and accused of committing over $100,000 in bank fraud in an alleged scheme where he would open new bank accounts with fraudulent check deposits and withdraw money from the accounts before the checks cleared. The Durham Regional Police service announced Wednesday that Skrine missed a court date on May 6 and that his GPS monitoring device “has since gone off-line." Skrine had been granted bail from the Saskatchewan Correctional Centre on April 24. He is wanted for Fail to Appear and Fail to Comply with Release Order, and the police are offering a $2,000 cash reward. When he was originally detained, police said that “there is reason to believe the same male has been committing similar offences (sic) across Canada,” referring to the check scheme. Skrine played college football at Chattanooga and was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Browns. In 2015, he signed a four-year deal with the Jets worth $25 million. He appeared in 59 games for the Jets over those four years, including 48 starts. nypost.com/2024/05/09/sports/ex-jets-corner-buster-skrine-allegedly-on-run-from-police/So...to you in Jests Nation, here's your chance to cash in on a couple of grand should you intercept Mr. Skrine trying to open up any new bank accounts in your area, or if you have any information as to his whereabouts. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
