This will be must see tv! Good clip of him on the show today making the announcement.
I doubt he will say, but I wish he would say what he would do with the pats #3 pick.

Coaching is BBs passion. He is as competitive as TB12. I'm sure he would love an opportunity to beat Shula's win record AND a 7th SB ring as HC.....and then, "retire" on top.

How could he ruin his legacy if he manages to win 15 more games and pass Shula?

I believe Shula has 328 and Bill has 302 so he would need 27 more wins. with a "good" team, 3 seasons. how many "good" teams are firing their coach? located in an area Bill wants to live? for an owner Bill likes?

I hope he gives us insight as to what happens in the draft room, how trades are made. What the tension level can be. With all due respect. I don't want to hear about past players or NFL history. I wonder how well he'll do. Will be interesting to see.

Shula holds a 347-333 edge (including playoff wins). So roughly 2 years for BB to get there with an average team.

uh yeah they do lol. yes playoff wins do not count in someone's regular season wins total, as duh, they are not regular season games. but they are absolutely counted in with a coaches total wins or a players total wins.. but yes, they are seperate categories but still count in the total wins (regular season and playoffs combined) for any coach or player. either way... bill trails shula and at this point... probably going to be hard to catch him in regular season wins as he trails by what like 25-30ish? will he coach 3-4 more seasons? combined playoff and regular season wins i think he only trails shula by around 15 (too lazy too look back at the exact numbers, just going off of memory)...

I think he would do well on one of the network pre-game shows. NFL network next to Mariuci, Warner and Irvin?

I think he would do well on one of the network pre-game shows. NFL network next to Mariuci, Warner and Irvin? I was watching him. I agree. He needs to be in a studio. Nobody knows more about the game and can remember so many little details like him. Nobody. The only critique I had was his over-the-top negative review of Maye. He made him sound like a 3rd round pick. Maybe that's how he truly feels. I think he need to put his firing behind him. If he goes into the studio he'll have to.

He did, but can you honesty say you didn't detect a sharp increase in negativity with our pick? IMHO, it was overt as hell.

He also negative reviewed Maye BEFORE the Patriots drafted him. He is being genuine imo

A lot of analysts have said Maye is the least ready QB for the NFL before the draft - they also say he has one of the highest ceilings if you can coach him up. The film reviews were all canned, pre-recorded clips. So at the time he selected the tape and the comments, he didn't know who was drafting the guys.
That is the reason I am not hyped up about Maye myself - at least he sits behind Brissett for a year, but they got to do a lot of work to clean him up in practice.
