With the younger generation(s) having different expectations, responsibilities, and accountabilities regarding workplace environment:
1. Describe Jim Harbaugh's coaching style 2. What type of offensive and defensive schemes does he favor. 3. Will Chargers players accept his style of coaching; especially in light of Urban getting fired a couple of years ago, and BB being ousted in NE; and unable to get a coaching job this season.

if he does not win, he will be gone within 3 seasons Bill won, so he was never in doubt once he started losing, the clock was ticking

1. Describe Jim Harbaugh's coaching style He strikes me as a mix of BB and Pete Carroll, in that he can mix in some abrasive, old-time saltiness, with a mix of ra-ra... pumped and jacked.
2. What type of offensive and defensive schemes does he favor. What he runs in LA might different from his Michigan days, but he was ran a ground-heavy pro-style O, with some play action in Ann Arbor, while with some mixed fronts on D.
3. Will Chargers players accept his style of coaching; especially in light of Urban getting fired a couple of years ago, and BB being ousted in NE; and unable to get a coaching job this season.
BB's inability to land a coaching gig has plenty to do with his lack of success, post-BB, and was more of an impact than his age, IMO. I mean, if he wont the SB last year, or had his team in the playoffs, winning a few over the past few seasons, he'd have a job right now. Harbaugh's star is extremely high at the moment, fresh off winning a Natty, and I think the extended stay in college can/will help him relate to the younger ego's in the NFL.

As already stayed, if he wins it won’t matter. I saw the Chargers signed JK Dobbins. He is a great running back but has been cursed with horrible injuries. If healthy he could be scary in that offense. Nice, under the radar signing by SD.

It'll be interesting to see how the Charger's players take to Harbaugh. Urban Meyer ran voluntary/mandatory like his "glory" days from coaching the Gators. The veterans on the Jaguars did not take to that coaching approach.

But voluntary training camp is where Harbaugh is going to set the tone for the season in terms of outlining the expectations of the players and securing "buy-in".

Love or hate Harbaugh, I feel he is authentic in what he does... very unlike the BB disciples who rolled into town like Johnny Gunslinger, and did their worst BB impersonations for their respective teams... failing miserably. Just be authentic.

I can’t imagine this is the first time these guys have gone through this. If they believe Harbaugh is a good coach, they’ll buy into his system. If winning ensues, expect a culture to start brewing.

I don't know what the current roster is like, who the younger veterans vs. older veterans are, or whether they've undergone wholesale coaching changes in the past. The same was true when Urban Meyer became coach for the Jags? The players did not care for Urban Meyer's coaching style or the "culture" that he was trying to instill.
Seems that Harbaugh will be tough, and appears more relatable than Meyer?

I think if the coach is fair and consistent with every player the team can work through the highs and lows of a season. Harbaugh isn't an exception.

I have always been of the opinion that Harbaugh's personality quirks and uniqueness has been an issue with management and ownership, not the players
