I had read he was very open to a return, and enjoyed his time here. he was in discussions with the Pats, but saw more opportunity with Dallas wish him well. he exceeded my expectations while here

Zeke played well for us, but he's getting up there in age. The Cowboys don't have a lot of better RB options.
Plus Kevin Harris looked really good averaging 4 yards a carry behind a dysfunctional offensive line the last four games of last season after Rhamondre went down with injury, also he has the one magical quality they look for in a player... he's cheap as a lunch of hotdogs and chips.

Once we signed Gibson, I never thought Zeke would be back. Was a trooper though, much more mature in the locker room last year than I expected, especially considering the dysfunction.
