Did you watch the game Sunday? Did you think that the game was properly and fairly officiated? You don't think that the Goodell NFL is anti-Patriots after all that's happened? You don't think that the media is in love with the Chiefs? Please. Yes, I did watch No, I do not think it was properly officiated, but I do think the officials were equally bad I do not think Goodell is anti Patriots I do not think the media is in love with the Chiefs. I do believe the media thinks the Chiefs will put out a good, entertaining game, and they mostly do. I thought Romo's love of Brady was over the top, but never heard any complaints from you I agree that the officiating was equally bad in the Chiefs/Bengals game was as you stated, until the 4th quarter. Every call or non-call seemed to go in favor of the Chiefs for the rest of the game.

He's an elite player, and probably a good guy, but Travis Kelce has the most punchable face to me.
I'm also sick of the sycophantic worship and hyperbole, every time Pat Mahomes limps, which seems to be whenever he feels the camera is really on him. Now, is he injured? Yeah, probably, but I remember watching a play on Sunday, where he was moving fine, then a few plays later, it's like he was had a termite infested peg-leg, and he didn't wanna put any pressure on it.
Irrational? Probably... but, you feel how you feel.

You don't think that the media is in love with the Chiefs? Please. First, the officiating in this weekend's game has nothing to do with my statements above. And to answer your question, no, I do not believe in too many conspiracy theories. What has happened in the past in in the past. Clearly you still haven't let it go, and are convinced that Big Bad Roger is out to sabotage the Pats. You are more than entitled to feel that way, I do not. I'm not calling you wrong Tex, I just don't agree with your view on this one. No problem my friend. We just need to agree to disagree and move on.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theory person, I don't think the refs or NFL is out to get any one team or to help any one team win. There are always some missed or questionable calls in games. Some maybe more than others. But are the refs out to favor one team over the other? NO.
As much as I was rooting against the Chiefs last Sunday.. actually, always .. I have to admit what Mahomes was able to do with his injury was just unbelievable. I appreciate the competitiveness and willing to win and desire the guy has. He's a special player, that's what greatness is. The guy has a ton of talent, there's no denying any of that. With all that said... I'll be rooting for the Eagles to win the SB. Lol. But the Chiefs and Mahomes will show up and play their asses off and let's face it, if the end up winning.. they certainly deserve it.

Spygate was BS - but Deflategate was a complete joke and served as an excuse to weaken the Patriots. As far as the officiating goes, what we saw in the 4th quarter in Kansas City was a disgrace. The "missed" and/or "questionable" calls all went in Kansas City's favor. This is not the first time this has happened. The Patriots got jobbed by referee Ben Drieth in 1976, which likely cost them a championship. In January of 2007, the Patriots were blowing out the Colts in the AFC Title game in Indy - until the refs stepped in to "even the playing field", sort of speak - and cost the 2006 Patriots another championship. In SB 40, the refs jobbed the Seattle Seahawks, allowing The Chin to lead his Steelers to a 21-10 win. In last years' SB , a phantom PI call late in the 4th quarter was the difference to give the Rams the nod over Cincinnati. In Mahomies' first SB, SB 54, the 49ers were robbed by the zebras. That BS call against TE George Kittle was a killer. It changed the course of that game. There are plenty of other championship level games that I could cite. The excuse that the league constantly gives is "human error", and, lately, the refs are poorly trained. This officiating BS occurring with increased frequency during the Goodellian era has been going on for years. If the NFL knows that they have a problem, then why not go to full time refs? They don't want that, because that would rob them of their built in excuse for the bad calls...which always seem to favor only one of the teams.

You have a slew of moronic posts, but that one is near the top. Good job, your efforts to one up yourself are noticed by all. This just in, the Raiders consider the tuck rule getting robbed. That is every bit as stupid.

I think KC is a fun team to watch. Reid's offense (or Bienemy's) always shows a new wrinkle and formation. Mahomes is amazing, their management seems to "get it" on how to reload around a franchise QB. I kind of feel badly for those that despise KC. I think they are going to be around for a long, long time. s/b a great SB. They’re big proponents of the SHO Theory, I’ll give them that.

Deflategate... yes, it was BS and we know the science of it all. It didn't change the course of a game or really the course of the season. We won the SB that year Brady was suspended. There's questionable calls in all games. Missed calls in all games. It happens, it's human nature, it's part of the game. What we see in instant replay, slow motion, these guys are calling it in real time without the benefit of any of that, unless it's challenged. I saw holds and blocks in the back that should have been called against KC, and the Burrows non roughing call should have been called, I get it. But just part of the game. I don't think it changes the outcome of the game. KC was winning that game and deserved to. They outplayed the Bengals. As for the Mahomes roughing call, that absolutely was the correct call and had to be called.

The Chiefs have a QB who is half black, plays with a bum ankle and still manages to make plays. They have a great WR that plays under the title of TE. The Eagles have their fans. I'm going Chiefs here if I have to choose. Other than that, I could care less. There's a good chance I won't even watch. I think I have had my fill of the NFL until next season. The Pats will always hold my interest unless the game becomes so watered down and corrupt that I can't stand it anymore.

Re-reading all the old comments and the most recent ones made me think about what may be the core reason this fanbase, and probably many others, despises the KC Chiefs. First, I will not take away from the talent this team has, it does, and many times people on this forum have said they would love to see this player or that one on the Patriots. Just like the players on the Patriots, the Chiefs strive to win. Does that team seem to have the greatest collection of horse shoes in the NFL? Most likely so, since I have never seen a team get so many breaks at the right time like it did this past Sunday. Granted Ossai's out of bounds brain-fart was the correct call, but, without it, that game was going into OT.
Anyway, with all that said, I think what burns at the core is how the media treats the Chiefs unlike other NFL teams in recent years. It gushes over that team. Dynasty comments after one SB win blah, blah, blah. Over the course of the Patriots 20 year run with Brady, the media did not gush like it has for Mahomes and company. Recall how most of the media WANTED the Patriots to lose SB42 as did most of the country. History be damned so that any team BUT the Patriots should be the team to break the Dolphins stranglehold to be the only undefeated team through the SB. The good from all this? No matter what the media does in its gushing over the Chiefs, the run the Patriots had will never be repeated for the length it lasted. We have that, right?

here is the conspiracy against the Pats: the owners understood offense built interest, ratings and bottom line. they changed the rules to favor the offense and loosened the refs calls to favor the offense. teams that embraced this, won the Pats drafted OG's and could not develop weapons. they fell into Edelman. took, what 5 years for him to get there? who is the last weapon they drafted/developed? Gronk? White?

The Pats really struggled to adapt. Pay no attention to the fact that they had the best record in football since then and won 3 more Super Bowls and went to 6 of them, had an undefeated season in which they reset every passing record and went to 8 conference championship games in a row. That doesn’t mask the struggle. It was brutal. Poor Pats fans.

Yes, according to super fan nick Wright they've already surpassed the Patriots because they're the only team to host 5 straight afc championship games, lol they lost 2 of them. All they ever talk is chiefs on his FOX show. Another reason to had the chiefs are the obnoxious Brittany and Jackson Mahomes.

Another reason to had the chiefs are the obnoxious Brittany and Jackson Mahommes. Spot on. Last season they were insufferable. This season, they've shut their traps up (someone told them to zip it) and have kept their TikTok antics under wraps (or perhaps the CCP is doing it for all of us). But, a few times they trot out together, they're still a wreck waiting to happen. Must say this for St. Patrick, the anointed one, he has stuck with Brittany for a very long time.

He said the Patriots were never a dynasty and are not in the discussion of dynasties in nfl history. I never intentionally watch that dopes show other than flipping through the channels. They showed the post game interview of mahomes on field and his brother interrupted it dancing lol.

How does being a two year starter on his high school Badminton team qualify him as a pro football expert? As I've said many times previously, woke ESPN, the New York media, and the NFL are working to cancel BB, Tom Brady, and the Patriots era from 2001-18 from existence.
