The $100 million is all new money, how do you see it differently. He got a $16.5 million bonus for 2021 and a $42 option million bonus for 2022 that were NOT part of his prior deal. Do you really see them ending this contract in the next 3-4 years?? profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/06/inside-the-josh-allen-deal/The $100 million full guarantee at signing moves to $110 million in 2022, $140 million in 2023, and $162.5 million in 2024, via rolling guarantees that vest money in future years. By 2025, Allen will have had $177.5 million become guaranteed. Through 2026, it becomes $239 million.
The full guarantee at signing is the most in NFL history, surpassing Dak Prescott ($95 million) and Matt Ryan ($94.5 million). The total injury guarantee of $150 million at signing bests Patrick Mahomes ($141.5 million), Prescott ($126 million), and Deshaun Watson ($110.7 million).read the link I posted "$100M guaranteed at signing (signing bonus + 2021 salary + 2021 roster bonus + 2022 salary + 2022 option bonus + 2023 salary + 2024 roster bonus)" OK, I get it, and you are correct. The 2021 and 2022 salaries and the 2021 roster bonus (total of $7 million and change) were not guaranteed until the contract was signed, and are included in the $100 million guaranteed at signing. OverTheCap.com shows it all as 'new money' if you look under the contract notes. They show only $56,000 as 'old money'.

Anyone remember when Wozzy told us Josh Allen would never be a good QB because he wasn't a pocket passer, then he got Diggs Brown and Beasley and lit the league on fire?

Anyone remember when Wozzy told us Josh Allen would never be a good QB because he wasn't a pocket passer, then he got Diggs Brown and Beasley and lit the league on fire? he never said anything like that; Antonio to Buffalo!! Mar 8, 2019 at 2:33am via mobile Post by Wozzy on Mar 8, 2019 at 2:33am "Josh Allen sucks, Brown a small target, funny stuff" "Lets start with the obvious. J osh Allen sucks and all those that worship at the alter of "potential," "strong arms" and athleticism when it comes to the QB position or told us Allen was the guy last offseason have to reevaluate their criteria in how they judge QB's... he's not good. This past offseason I opined that he should convert to a tightend because he will never be a good QB... was Wozzy's Draft Guide wrong?""Jackson should convert to WR the same way J osh Allen should convert to TE, they should do it now instead of waiting three years from now." I'm not even sure he's a franchise QB.
I think he'd make a decent TE, the Pats should wait for him to fail, acquire and covert him"

I don't like running quarterbacks. Allen has run 300 times in his career so far.
The problem is, some Sunday, maybe this year and maybe in three years, Allen rushes ahead for five yards and he gets tackled. Suddenly for whatever reason he's not the same quarterback. Cam Newton is a heavy quarterback and he's seen concussions and slowdown injuries. At least Cam is on a one year contract and he comes cheap.
The Bills are on the hook for $150 million and that includes any injuries?

I think we are seeing him more as a QB that runs, rather than a running QB as he better grasps the offense and better players are assembled around him. I think Allen is making better and better decisions when to run. in fact I think his run or pass decisions are better than his pass decisions. I find Allen continues to make questionable decisions/throws that still have me on the fence if this guy can be elite. Allens salaries and some of his bonuses are guaranteed even if injured to the tune of $100m
