I am taking my two nephews to the Patriots at Bills MNF December 6th. I bought 3 tickets in the old Jim Kelly Club section (208). Here's the funny thing, I first tried to buy the tickets in the club section through Ticketmaster but every time I went to pay for them the system would kick me out after I put in my billing address. I even tried different club seats with different credit cards and Ticketmaster still would not let me complete the purchase. I switched to Boston based Ace Tickets and was finally able to get the tickets. Ticketmaster is closely allied with the NFL.
Question: Can home NFL teams restrict ticket sales in certain sections based on the buyer's home address? In my case Massachusetts for premium club seats for a Patriots Bills matchup? The conspiracy minded me wants to know!

They can and they do. It’s a normal practice.

They can and they do. It’s a normal practice. I don’t think the Patriots do that since I frequently see fans of opposing teams at Patriots home games. I have never seen those fans harassed by Patriots fans. Of all the stadiums where I have attended away Patriots games Buffalo is the worse. Their fans are rude and have no problem harassing Patriots fans, even throwing stuff at that them. It’s such a loser mentality, right up there with the frat house table breaking stuff. The irony is my two nephews live in Buffalo and are Bills fans. UPDATE: as I was typing this out Ace Tickets called me, they can’t get the tickets released to them. However, they did get me on the 50 yard line 18 rows up behind the Patriots. So that’s good. The Bills are such losers though….

I’m sure some teams are happy to sell tickets to anyone willing to pay money for them. But, it is done.

LoL… I’m sure teams with confident, stable fan bases don’t need to do it. The Bills fans, however, are not confident and need to be protected from other teams fans in their stadium. Don’t want them triggered!

Buffalo lose. They have now have played two bad games in a row. Now the Patriot are only a half a game behind the Bills.
Next week they play the Jets. I guess we need to root for Jets next week 😉
Anyway, I think the Patriots have a real chance of winning in Buffalo.
