I hope its settle out of court and Boutte gets a chance to find spot during training camp(s). He made a stupid, immature, young adult w/ money kind of mistake. Of course, Goodell will have his say in the matter too; regardless of the court case outcome.

When there is news to report, we will certainly share it with you.” Miller emphasized that the league is looking into the matter but did not confirm about the consequences under NFL policies.
LSU has responded to the situation as well, stating they were made aware of the allegations last July and have cooperated fully with the investigation. They said, “Since then, we have fully cooperated with all relevant authorities involved in the investigation and will continue to do so. We have no evidence that any other student-athletes participated in these prohibited activities”.
As per WCVB, the Patriots are cooperating with the investigation but declined to comment further on the matter. “The New England Patriots are aware that Kayshon Boutte is cooperating with Louisiana police regarding their investigation,” said Patriots spokesman Stacey James.
