-lots of draft pod talk has to do with swinging for the fences with Maye/Daniels opposed to going with the higher floor/lower ceiling JJM. heard one pod caster even call JJM Mac 2.0. whomever they pick, as long as they get that QB the proper support from coaching, targets and OL, let the chips fall where they may.
-been listening to a lot of Bedard regarding the draft, and he incessently circles everything the Pats might do to what Ron Wolf, Eliot's dad, did with the Packers.
-word is that Troy Brown did not get the job out in Arizona coaching WR's for ASU. and he will be back. good for Troy, but please do not let him near the WR's the team ultimately drafts. the teams WR's on his watch were horrible.
-trading down effect. KCC-Trent McDuffie. all pro CB. NEP-C Strange. Jack Jones. Mapu. Zippy.
-sitting pat in the draft could have the Pats looking at Legette at #34. count me in for him.
-not going to add anything about OJ the person. but I was in the stands in 1973 opening day when he cooked the Pats D for 250 yards for 10 yards a clip. one of the top 3 RB's I ever saw.
-OT: very well done Mike Gorman.
-based on this offseasons signings, I would think if Barmore repeats last season, his price will be north of $28m APY.
-Pats cap space would allow a post draft trade for a WR if they choose to part ways with next seasons draft picks.
-wonder if JuJu exposing himself on social media has the Pats thinking cut bait now rather than later?
-what would the level of disappointment be if the Pats go CB at #34?

-lots of draft pod talk has to do with swinging for the fences with Maye/Daniels opposed to going with the higher floor/lower ceiling JJM. heard one pod caster even call JJM Mac 2.0. whomever they pick, as long as they get that QB the proper support from coaching, targets and OL, let the chips fall where they may. All the QB’s have warts, none of them are the perfect prospect. Hell the last “perfect” QB prospect we saw was Trevor Lawrence, a generational talent… has he been that since?
If JJ is their guy they can potentially trade back a couple spots and still get him. He’s a better stronger athlete than Mac was.-been listening to a lot of Bedard regarding the draft, and he incessently circles everything the Pats might do to what Ron Wolf, Eliot's dad, did with the Packers. Signing Vedarian Lowe last year and Chuka Okorafor this year is not something Ron Wolf would have done. I’m concerned about Elliot’s love affair with long armed poor athlete OT’s. -trading down effect. KCC-Trent McDuffie. all pro CB. NEP-C Strange. Jack Jones. Mapu. Zippy. So trading back for Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones or Jamie Collins were bad moves? You keep talking about Strange like he has been a bad player, he hasn’t been. He was a stabilizing force on the line last season until he got hurt. And now Mapu is already a bust? Just silly.-Pats cap space would allow a post draft trade for a WR if they choose to part ways with next seasons draft picks. How about signing a free agent tackle who could actually start and play well on the left side? -what would the level of disappointment be if the Pats go CB at #34? It’s hardly a pressing need unless they planned on moving him or Wade to free safety. I don’t see it, they need to fix the offense.
