BB says that all the rumors etc up till now have been created by players agents. Some are smokescreens others are pure BS just trying to get their clients into the best possible position. Now that draft week is among us, BB says that most of the information that starts to trickle out is factual and coming from the teams.
As of now I see the Pats drafting either Maye or Daniels at #3. My big question is do they take a WR at 34 or if Amarius Sims falls (due to his medicals) do you risk taking him at 34?

if the rumors are true the Pats were said to be happy with their OL. Yikes! To me this means they aren't trading out unless someone really knocks their socks off with a deal which I don't think will happen. 3rd pick is QB. 2nd round will more than likely a WR. OTs are a high need area so Mims is going to be long gone even with that injury history.

What that tweet tells me is they're taking a QB at 3 no matter what and looking at OT's they can get in the second or third round. It's still concerning me they're in love with tackles with really wide wing spans, but who aren't great athletes. Wasn't the Veteran Lowe experiment a total failure? Good grief...

Another angle is that talking heads create the rumors to fish for reactions from teams. Schrager mentioned that right after he put out his mock draft, a couple of teams reached out to him to ask about some teams he mocked certain players to. It was more to ascertain if it was based on solid info he got from the teams concerned. But at the same time, the reaction gave Schrager ideas about what those teams who reached out to him were thinking.
