Love the results of the trade and pick at #11, don't like the result of pick #23, with Brian Thomas Jr. sitting there.

If we pick a corner at 23 after picking a QB at 11 AFTER picking Gonzo last year, then this franchise might be truly clueless

This offense that was dead last in the league in most categories? Nah keep it as is, McCarthy will do great with Okafor at LT. Meanwhile ANOTHER DEFENDER I might be 10 beers in before we even get to the 3rd pick.

Thankfully, Florio is very hit and miss so he could easily be wrong. I just hate how much smoke there is to us not liking Maye that much

I didn't see all of the trade details, but if pats can get a haul, and still get JJM at 11 that is a home run. Just don't hit into a double play like that mock and pick thomas at WR. I have been a big LT over WR guy, but the run of WR taken in that mock leave a bunch of LT candidates available at 34, so can go JJM at 11, thomas at 23, and LT at 34...love it. Hope there is at least a few high picks in 2025/2026 as well in that trade.

No way they get J.J. McCarthy staying at #11. At very least, the Raiders would leapfrog them.

That's plausible. Kevin O'Connell was heard saying that he feels comfortable with having to fix a QBs lower half (footwork). Without mentioning a QB's name, everyone knows he was referring to Maye. As I have said before, ex-GBP staff now on the Pats' staff like JJM because they see him as a Rodgers 2.0 LAC will probably not want to trade with either DEN or LVR If LVR or DEN wants to trade up for QB5, it would be to CHI's R1P9. It would be interesting to see if LVR and/or DEN trades down then pick a QB.

I'd be ecstatic if we moved back to 11 and was still able to get McCarthy there. That next pick though, I really don't think we need another corner that early. Not with Gonzalez looking like he was going to skate to Defensive Rookie of the Year before going down. I'd jump on Tyler Guyton at that spot and be the fattest and oldest person to ever do a backflip.

Thinking the bears didn’t extra suck. They could have been picking 1&2.

That remains to be seen. Idk. To me the offense still pretty much looks the same. Not explosive at all.

If you draft a QB you have 4-5 years )if he is good) to surround him with high priced talent before you have to dish out the big contract for the QB. Presumably if we are also drafting an LT, then pay for the WR. QB, WR and LT are the 3 highest paid positions on offense I believe Plus we got cash to burn!
