Not the player he was, but even at this stage he would be a good addition to the roster at the right price. Hopefully we make the call but he would have to get on board with whatever role he’s given, which it seems he wasn’t on board with in San Fran. Maybe he’d do it if he’s on a winning team, but if there’s any attitude or demands, I’d let him go ply his trade elsewhere.

Released? Literally two hours ago they were talking on the radio about whether the Patriots should trade for him, no was the answer due to his age and contract, but now that he's free? I mean if he's only a run stopper I guess maybe it's not worth it, but then again stopping the run is another area we are struggling with. This guy couldn't hurt, could he?

As a Harris replacement, sure. My guess is a team like Carolina (Keuchly concussion issues) or someone else will overpay.

Haven't seen us linked to him, but at the right price? Yeah a serviceable Harris replacement.

From what I read he is David Harris part 2. Boy, this game is hard on players. Lynch is their GM, he should be able to spot if he doesn't have it anymore.

He clearly isn't the Navarro Bowman of 2013. Injuries have really slowed him down. We already have one washed up vet LB in Harris. Let's keep it that way. Pass.

The Pats have $4,961,084 in cap space. The guy on BSJ, is the best, he follows this daily. Best articles I ever read for the Pats and the Cap. He goes through everything, absolutely everything. Takes 5 minutes to read.

Wish I could post it here, but it doesn't show up. The guy is the best, goes through Trades, cuts, incentives, game day bonuses, everything. Every scenario there is. To see how much could be saved, or lost.

From PFT:
Navorro Bowman didn’t have to wait long or go far to find his new NFL team.
Bowman has agreed to terms with the Raiders on a one-year contract. A source tells PFT that Bowman will get $3 million for the rest of the year and will be able to keep his full salary from the 49ers as well.
After spending the first eight years of his NFL career in San Francisco, Bowman was released by the 49ers last week. He was immediately linked to the Raiders and agreed to sign with them today, despite also being asked to visit the Cowboys.
The 29-year-old Bowman had started all five games for the 49ers before his release last week. He was once among the best linebackers in football before a devastating knee injury in the playoffs after the 2013 season, and now the Raiders, who are fighting for their playoff lives after a disappointing 2-4 start, will hope they can see him return to that level.
