-just saying, the "weak" AC East is looking pretty tough thru week 6.
-don't look now, but DWatson has 15 TD's. yet the Pats do not play any teams with good QB's?
-who knew, but the Pats traded a starting NFL QB in Brissett for a 5th wide out. that was after Brissett had a 350 yard/5TD game against the Giants.
-I know the OL sucks, but Shaq Mason is playing himself into a pretty big contract. (yes Sheldon, sarcasm)
-I know my rankings do not count, but I have Julio Jones as the best WR in the NFL
-would like to see this Pats team close with a lead. I so far have been unimpressed with how they have tried to burn clock with out Blount.
-I know I am in the minority, but I do not think it a done deal that Butler leaves this offseason
-Jets-Dolphins this week. who are you rooting for?
-I kind of like this Yankee team. They have some players that are fun to watch.
-didn't we all think the Browns would be better this year? and Collins was going to play well?

Per NFL Mobile: If the playoffs started today, Pats would be the 3 seed, Buffalo the 5 seed and Miami the 6 seed (with KC the 1, Pitt the 2 and Tennessee the 4).

Why they signed Gilmore and kept butler. And yet still they struggle. Now Atlanta with no gilmore or Rowe.

As of today 3 teams from the AFC East would be in the playoffs.
Lets see next year if he can do what Wentz has been able to do in his 2nd year. Based on what I've seen to date I believe Watson is the real deal. Still want to see that 2nd year progression.
Where Brissett is in his maturation I would put him right now as a solid NFL #2.
I'm in the minority but I like the Pats guards.
Have to disagree on Julio Jones... great talent but he seems to be always dinged up which hinders his production. IMO Mike Evans is the best WR in the NFL and that is with a less than mediocre QB.
I think the running back group on a whole is better than last years group. Lets see how this shakes out going forward
Butler has been the poster child for the Pats D.... wildly inconsistent. I agree I don't think he gets signed.
Jets
Pitching, Pitching, Pitching from top to Bottom the yankees staff has as good a staff as anyone. To your point based on watching baseball they are more enjoyable to watch than the other teams.
I could be wrong but I get the impression that football is not a top priority for Collins, just a feeling I get.

I don't think so UNLESS he takes a Bill Belichick type team friendly deal. Why would he? He should and will take the most money offered to him. This is his one and only payday. He has to cash in this time. I don't think the Pats will have enough money to offer him in the end. If it was close, maybe. But I see a number of teams spending big money to take Butler away from the Pats.

He is not willing to over pay.

I still don't understand where BB is going to find the money to pay Butler with Gilmore, McCourty on big contracts. Let's say for a second that BB offers Butler close to Logan Ryan money. That's still 3 years, $30M, with $16m guaranteed and cap hits of $8m, $10m, $11m respectively. That's still pretty rich considering Gilmore and McCourty are on big contracts. Just not sure where BB finds that kind of money. I think Butler is better than Ryan and will command more money than Ryan. Let's split the difference between Ryan and Gilmore and call it Butler. Gilmore is getting paid 5 years/$65m with $40m guaranteed..cap hits of $8m (2017), $12m, $13m, $14m, $15m. I could see Butler at 4 years/$45m, with $20m guaranteed. That is someplace in-between Ryan and Gilmore. I'm not sure how that money gets spread cap wise, but that's still a lot to fit in.

When he goes, I’ll think of him just like Adam V. Good pat, helped us win, never a distraction.

But I think a somewhat informed one based on what Gilmore, Ryan and some others got paid this offseason. AJ Bouye who is a very good CB got signed this offseason by the Jaguars. He' making 5years/$67m with $26m guaranteed. I think Butler is close to Bouye. Butler is going to get paid and I just believe based upon what has happened here (perceived injustice in paying Gilmore over him), he will gladly take the money to go elsewhere.

Jets - Dolphins game? Instinctively, I'd want Jets to win and push the 'Phins another game below us. But, a tie would help us out evenly with both division foes.

While having a strange season so far, he still fights, he still one of the best tacklers on defense, he is on the field every game... where is Gilmore, still the best CB in this team. Dodgers all the way!! Great team, fun team to watch, a lead is never safe against them and their pitching is so deep!! This is their season! Kershaw gets his WS win this season.

just hope butler has 2good games in a row... Was it coincidence or is secondary better without Gilmore?
Atlanta has looked shaky this year. We shall see how they do at Gillette. When was last time pats lost 3 at home..? Can't happen.
Yankees are ok after arod left. Haven't seen ellsbury. That's good. Without Gregorius , they're not there. He's their new Jeter.

Julio is great, but Antonio Brown is the most shiny hood ornament out there right now. I'd put Evans in the next tier, along with Beckham. Not a huge fan of paying any of them huge money, though. Let someone else do that, I'll have four or five really solid mid-level guys who are tough and unselfish, thank you.
Need to pump the brakes on young QBs. It's 40 games before you know, for sure. Brissett looks really solid for a guy thrown on to a team at the last minute. But, I'm not sure he's better than Case Keenum at this point. You paying Case Keenum?
Tanaka's okay. Personally, I always liked Mr. Fuji.

I think he's going to be very good when they play him man to man.
