For the first time in the BB era he has not only given the team the day off after a game but they have everyday (except Wed.) off during the bye week. Heal up brothers.

As I'm watching this team get depleted and more depleted I start to wonder...how does anyone win a super bowl? How does any team survive a season? Because obviously we have done it.
Looking back at all those super bowl seasons, there were serious injuries in almost all of them, but I think the key always was getting players back. You can lose players, tread water, but you have to get them back towards the end. It's almost as of losing the player, having him heel, get fresh, then come back is beneficial (as long as you stay above water in the standings). Other guys play, get better, then the other guys come back - it's like a turbo boost.
The problem with us this year isn't we're not getting those guys back...Hightower, Edelman. Gone.
I think the key for now is to get a Hogan back, get a Mitchell and McClellin back. Keep Gronk healthy. Keep Amendola healthy (and it looked like they tried to limit him yesterday and not ask much of him). But the injuries have to stop and there's a lot of football left. They really need to make a decision if they want to make some serious trades and try to acquire some of what they lost, but that'll cost them their future...do they want to do that? Is time running short? Do they really go all in? I think those quaestions are being asked right now inside that facility, as much as people don't want to admit that, they are talking about whether it's worth going for right now.

Its been a tough season injury and schedule wise, but at least this is a perfectly timed bye week. Not surprised BB is giving them a lot of time off, they have been going hard for a while and still should bee in good shape in a couple weeks.

They must be working hard getting things right. Belichick is rewarding them with some well deserved time off.

From what I hear Mitchell isn’t even close to getting back on the field. Very disappointing if true, been waiting for him to get back on the field, a good receiver, has Brady’s trust. Has a lot of catching up to do as far as getting in game shape, knocking off the rust. Hopefully ready for the last few games and playoffs. But I’m worried that we won’t see him this season.

Get Austin Carr back from New Orleans. Don’t think he has played a snap for them or if he has no catches yet.

There's also the consideration they will be spending a week plus on the road for the Denver game, stay in Denver and Oakland game at Mexico City.

Great choice by the staff to stay put in Colorado and not travel back to NE! Time for the team to rest and further acclimate to high altitude conditions. Mexico City is 7,300 feet above sea level! It should give them an advantage over the Raiders and Pats will also have the opportunity to bond.
