This quote says it all for me:
"If we had a reasonable or logical partner, then this thing would have been settled forever ago," Atallah said of the lingering Deflategate battle. "If we have a reasonable and logical and fair disciplinary process, then four games for something as trivial as this, even if you believe that Tom did do it -- which there's still a lot of doubts, if not complete doubt about that -- is ridiculous."

I'm really surprised more players aren't stepping up and taking a stand against Adolf Goodell. It's making me wonder if there are a large percentage of jealous players as well as the owners, that are actually enjoying watching the Pats get taken down yet another notch? It's all so sickening.....

It's all so sickening..... You know why... this court just affirmed Goodell has "kingly" powers and can do whatever he pleases whether he is right or wrong. Try and fight that ruling!!!!

Remember years ago I wan in a Union, had a big meeting about new Contract. In a Hall the Head of Union laid out everything proposed. After it was done, they said lets hear all the things you don't like about it. People I worked with did not say anything. After the Contract was passed, same people started crying, asked them why didn't you say something when you had the chance. Make sure everybody knows your concern. Couldn't answer. These Players had the chance, to do something, now they are crying. Too late. I hate Players that go to media, after the fact, just as much as Goodell. Brees has a lot of clout, should have pushed to make sure of Goodells Power to all the Players. They voted it's done. Live with it.

This isn't something that was added in the last CBA, the comish has had this power for decades. Goodell is the first one to abuse that power

They voted it's done. Live with it. You are right, they voted, and now they are paying the price. It sure leaves me wondering how the NFLPA would allow such power to one person? Was article 46 possibly written in a way that they had no idea that Roger would have this power? I'd bet the farm the NFLPA didn't vote in a way so that Roger has the right to abuse that power. This is the only reason I hold out hope that something can still be done. It's shocking knowing that judges are okay with this type of abuse of corporate power and the rights of the employees. What am I missing?

A company shouldn't be able to abuse their employees no matter what's in their contract.
What Goodell is doing is clearly abuse. There are plenty of precedents out there such as Favre refusing his phone and the Chargers putting sticky stuff on the balls or the Panthers/Vikings heating balls on the sideline. No one got a 4 game suspension or draft picks taken.
No matter what was negotiated in the CBA, there is such a thing as going too far.

at the time, there was a reason that it was said that D Smith was taken to the woodshed on the negotiations...that day has come

The World is so media driven, that any inappropriate action by Players, that if I was a Commissioner I'm going on the very strict end. It saves my job.
