Hello everyone. Let's review the contests. If you have any questions let me know.
Total Wins - Pick all the teams you think will win. Highest total at the end of the season wins. Offensive Points Scored Contest - Pick the team you think will score the most points. You can only pick that team once during the season. Defensive Points Allowed Contest - Pick the team you think will allow the least points to the opponent. You can only pick that team once during the season. Points Differential Contest - Pick the team you think will win by the most points. If the team you pick loses, those points are negative and will deduct from your total. You CAN pick a team more than once during the season. Single Pick Winner Contest - Like a Knockout game, but you keep picking, even if you picked a loser the previous week. You can only pick a team once during the season. Spread Contest - Pick a team from each game. If you pick the favorite (highlighted in orange), they have to win by more than the spread to "Cover" the spread. If they win by exactly the spread, that is a push (which is why Vegas usually puts a .5 at the end of the line, to prevent pushes). If you pick the underdog (no highlight), they must prevent the favorite from winning by more than the spread. If the do that, you get a point. Over/Under Contest - For each game, pick "Over" if you think the combined scores of both teams will be over the line, and "Under" if you think they will be under the line. You can also pick "Push" if you think the combined scores will be exactly the line (rare, which is why Vegas sometimes adds a .5 to this line as well).
NOTE: Sometimes there will be a disparity between the point spread and the FPI (FPI is ESPN's take on the percentage of a teams chances of winning. not a contest in and of itself. Just extra info for you to factor in or not, your choice), i.e. Vegas picks one team and FPI shows the other. In this case, I will designate the spread favorite as orange colored and the FPI favorite with a pale red/pink color. Just something to be aware of.
Also, correct picks are highlighted in green AFTER THE WEEK IS OVER! You will see some of my picks are coming up green in the screen shot. This is because I haven't put in the scores yet. Once the scores are final and I put them in, all the cells will update with the correct color.
If you're not an Excel person, no worries. Just post your picks and I will enter them. If you can, try to list them in the order of the attached schedule.
Good luck everyone. Hope you have fun!

Just so everyone is aware. If you are updating and then uploading a personal version of the spreadsheet, you don't have to go to each individual sheet to make your picks. There is a set of cells below the total wins/spread/over/under columns where you put single pick/off/def/diff picks. Those cells automatically update the other individual sheets. See first post in this thread for image. Thanks

Here are my picks. Not sure why file is so huge. Thank you for running this! Fair amount of code to make it more automatic for me. After the week is done, I basically only have to put the scores in and it calculates everything. My college one is even bigger. Can't post it due to the 1 meg limit. Hopefully this one will stay below 1 meg.

I picked them all - perhaps it did not save??? I can try again the am. Atlanta Over Atlanta to cover You populated all the tabs except the "Week 1 - Selections" tab, which has the Total Wins, Spread and Over/Under columns. It actually has the other games at the bottom of those columns so you don't have to go to each individual tab, but that's besides the point. It may not have saved. Sorry about that. If you could populate those columns for me, I'd appreciate it. I'll put you down for last night's selections until you get a chance to update. Thanks
