Ok, here are the spreadsheets. Notice there are 4 contests to participate in (these are separate from philskiw's Knockout contest) if you so desire. Play as many as you like. All contests will have a bye week where you worst week will be thrown out. I won't factor that in until the end though. Instructions for each game are on the sheet. For week 1, I'll need your inputs by next Thursday, prior to kickoff. Hopefully you all have access to MS Excel or Open Office so you can read the spreadsheets. If not, I think I can save the spreadsheets as pdfs. Let me know if you have trouble or if you have any questions.
If you haven't signed up yet, you have until next Thursday!

If you haven't signed up yet, you have until next Thursday! OK. Thanks again. Now for the points contest, we simply enter on this thread our pick for the given week, correct? For the winners contest, how do we send you the list of picks. There are as many as 16 games. I doubt you want to physically enter each and every one for each contestant. Is there an easier way for you? You said there were four contests besides the knockout. What are the other two?

Is there an easier way for you? You said there were four contests besides the knockout. What are the other two? So, there is the Offensive Points game (or scoring game as we call it), the Defensive Points Allowed game (where you pick the best defense for the week) and the Points Differential game (where you try to pick the team that will win by the most points (if they lose, you'll get negative points for that week). These are all on different tabs of the "Consolidated" sheet. The Total Winners selected is the other spreadsheet (and I have no problem copying everyone's entries into the sheets).
I would ask that everyone if possible post their picks in the order I have the games listed on the spreadsheet (which will make it easier to input): i.e. Total Winners Selected: Denver Broncos Green Bay Packers Baltimore Ravens Houston Texans Philadelphia Eagles Tampa Bay Buccaneers Minnesota Vikings NY Jets New Orleans Saints Kansas City Chiefs Seattle Seahawks Indianapolis Colts NY Giants New England Patriots Pittsburgh Steelers Los Angeles Rams
Offensive Ps: Green Bay
Defensive Pts: Ravens
Points Diff: Colts

I would like to make a suggestion that I hope everyone will follow in order to make it a lot easier for 347pg. When picking the winners, please write them in a vertical manner exactly in the way he did it here. By doing that he can then simply select the list, copy it, and paste it into his spreadsheet under the proper contestant. Remember, folks, that he is doing us all a great favor, so let's do what we can to make life easier for him.

Sheldon I've been having a problem copying to and pasting from the forum posts. The right mouse clicks show "copy" and "paste" options, but when I try to paste to another program it will not. What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind, it's working now! Great. Originally mine didn't either into your spreadsheet that I downloaded., but that was because it was uneditable. I had to allow editing. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Before I wrote my request, I tested it to see that it would work.

Also, do you know why I can upload attachments if I start a thread or reply to a post, but not if I use the "Post Quick Reply" option?

Also, do you know why I can upload attachments if I start a thread or reply to a post, but not if I use the "Post Quick Reply" option? Try this on for size. In the Quick Reply area, on the blue bar at the top, there is a button called "Reply". If you click on that it expands the Quick Reply and there is an Add Attachment in the upper right. Try it and see if that works for you.

If you haven't signed up yet, you have until next Thursday! I just want to make sure I'm on the same page with you guys. The 1st spreadsheet will be for the elimination contest.? obviously pick one team The 2nd spreadsheet we pick 3 teams? One team for points scored, one team for points given up and one team for point differential.? The 3rd spreadsheet we pick who we think is going to win each game that week.? Listing in order the way the games appear on the spreadsheet.? All picks for each week have to be in by Thursday of game week.? Picks for all contests should be in one Post? Are we coming to this thread every week or will there be a separate thread every week? Sorry to be such a pain and thanks for administering these contests for us. Much appreciated.

I just want to make sure I'm on the same page with you guys. The 1st spreadsheet will be for the elimination contest.? obviously pick one team Philskiw is running the knockout tournament. It will be in a different thread called "Knockout". The first file is the games for that week for your reference. The 2nd spreadsheet we pick 3 teams? One team for points scored, one team for points given up and one team for point differential.? CorrectThe 3rd spreadsheet we pick who we think is going to win each game that week.? Listing in order the way the games appear on the spreadsheet.? Correct. If you list them in a different order, I'll figure it out. It's not critical, but will help me cut and paste quicker. All picks for each week have to be in by Thursday of game week.? Yes, if there is no Thursday game, then by the first game of that week.Picks for all contests should be in one Post? If possible, not critical, but as long as all your picks are in by the first game of the week, I'm not too concerned. Are we coming to this thread every week or will there be a separate thread every week? There will be a new thread each week with the week identified in the title (i.e. "Consolidated Football Contests - Week 2"). This is because I don't want people to have to scroll through all previous weeks to get to the current week.
Sorry to be such a pain and thanks for administering these contests for us. Much appreciated. No problem. My pleasure. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for letting me clarify. There's probably a lot more people that have the same questions.

Fellas Just so everyone is on the same page, philskiw is doing the Knockout game. Different thread. I'll let him know you put your picks on this thread though, but look for his thread for Knockout going forward.

Or is that like the knockout thread where you cant use a team more than once
