I have finally fully accepted the premise that Brady will miss the first 4 Games of this coming season. I've lost any and all realistic hope of a positive conclusion of this terrible screwjob that has happened to the best QB of all time and to our New England Patriots.
The few jealous owners who encouraged this event to occur have once again proven to me that money does not equal class. All money is, - is money. Goodell is doing the bidding of his bosses and he is a stooge. But all of this has been hashed over and over to death and fully understood here.
I have previously allowed these owners, Goodell, ESPN, some of our local sports writers, et, al, to cast a stink over what should have been a glorious past summer. No F- ing more and not this summer! If we have to go with Jimmy G for the first 4 games, so be it. Like others have said, "3 and 1 or even 2 and 2 start would be a wonderful F U to Goodell and the rest of the league. I've already begun to go on the offensive and have a couple of neighbors who are Steelers and Seahawk Fans. They already know better than to say anything negative about Brady or the Patriots in front of me because they have already felt my blast back at them when they do. F them and any and all haters. They're going to do what they're going to do and so am I.
So once again it's the Patriots and Patriot Fans against the rest of the world. I'm actually beginning to like it. "F ck- em all, the long and the short and the tall" . . .

don't give up hope, but brace yourself for 4... I hear ya and I should have said that there's always room for hope. But by accepting what has happened, I'm able to remove the sickening feeling in my stomach about how badly we've been screwed and turn that feeling around to a more positive feeling of winning and success being the best revenge. OTOH, if there are any readers out there who work in restuarants in Maine close to where Goodell lives, I would like to request if given a chance that he or she hock up a nice juicy loogie on Roger's food order.

I remember going to the Pats/Carolina Monday night game a few seasons ago. When the Panthers scored with under a minute to go a Panther fan sitting next to me said to me something like "You guys came close". I said "It's not over yet, we still have a minute to go and Tom Brady. I'm not saying we will win it but never give up on Tom Brady". He just kind of laughed at me until we were at the 18 yard line with 3 seconds to go and all the Panther fans around us were like "WTF is going on?!?!" If it wasn't for the refs picking the flag up, we would have won.
I'm not expecting Tom to pull this one out either but I'm not giving up hope now, just like I didn't give up hope then.

I was confident the suspension would get lifted the first time because we had right on our side. This time around, it doesn't seem to matter. It gets to the point when you think you can't fight city hall anymore and the deck is stacked against you. Higher forces are at play. I never give up hope but I am also in acceptance mode. If it happens, it happens.

I certainly hope that TB is there, but, if he's not...how fun will it be to watch all the haters lose their minds as this team continues to win anyway?!

The hope part is always in play but if the Pats continue to win regardless then that would make a lot of the Patriot haters go nuts and that's a good thing.

I remember that game and the Panthers Linebacker had Gronkowski in a Bear Hug and the Ref's just let it go. That was another screw job.

If it happens, it happens. Right now the NFL and Goodell is not trying to prove it is right in Deflategate, it is trying to prove it can do what it wants per the CBA. The court case did not say Goodell and the NFL were correct in their allegations against the Patriots and Brady, it simply said the CBA gave Goodell "kingly" rights. So, until all what the NFL has done is peeled back in the courts and shown to be no proof whatsoever, the NFL will hold its ground since all evidence is locked away in the vaults of the Goodell Kingdom.

I have come to the fact that I already knew. Goodell and the owners are A-HOLES AND THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO CHANGE. I would like Brady to keep fighting it, but he will not win. I have come to the conclusion that Jimmy G or whoever is going to start the first 4 games of the season. I said it from the start Deflategate was bull shi!!!

I am still in denial. I continue to believe Brady will request an 'en banc' hearing before the Appellate Court and start the season.
Yet, I am comforted that others are coming to acceptance and I can get excited to see what Jimmy G can do!
