They were the only team not to vote for ratification of the CBA back in 2011. They knew what it really meant and were against Goodell's role in player discipline. If only other teams weren't so eager to ratify the CBA. Hindsight is 20/20 but the Steelers were the smartest team for not ratifying the CBA which gave Goodell too much power.

Quite true. In fact, the exact reason was that they thought it gave Goodell too much power.

And coincidentally enough, shortly afterwards Tomlin served no suspension for trying to trip a player while coaching on the sidelines. Anyone remember that? It was against the Ravens.
100k fine but no suspension. Seriously? That's not cheating? That's not detrimental to the integrity of the league or the safety of players?

Integrity of the game is arbitrary depending on what player or what team is involved.

It still boggles my mind that using stickum is a $25K fine. That is probably one of the biggest competitive advantages used by players today. Stickum really is incredible in helping catch a pass and securing the football. But nah, let's talk about pressure in a football that was never given any type of attention before.
