Well, there is A LOT of country in Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington to hunt. Idaho is awesome as well. If you want big deer, we have some in WA, but if you want better odds go to Montana or Wyoming. The hunting is great out here. I love it. I don’t really understand what you mean by AOC, etc, etc, etc, but I’m guessing it means many of your views don’t align with mine. Which is totally fine. You do you, just don’t tell me what to do and I’ll show you the same level of respect. Politically probably not, but we might enjoy a hunt together. I'm more a bird hunter than a big game hunter (I like working with dogs) but keep thinking I should start doing some deer hunting. Maybe when I retire in a year. I’ve never met a bird hunt I didn’t like. Got 2 pheasants yesterday. We got a skiff of snow so I could track them in the sage brush.

We're dogless right now, as my latest—an English Cocker who was a fabulous hunter got cancer and died in August (so no hunting this fall). We are on a litter list, though, and expect a new pup in April. This picture is of Nessie—one of my best hunters. She was actually a flat-coated retriever, which is like a lab but with longer hair and a bit lighter build. That was her last hunt actually. She was 13 and died later that winter. She flushed half a dozen birds that day, though.

Some of you guys have zero awareness of safety or logistics. 60mph winds, blizzard and white out conditions, potentially icy roads and power outages. Sure maybe you can play in that and it would make for fun TV, but how do you clear the roads, the stadium and the parking lots in those conditions and insure 80,000 people can arrive safely and leave and get home safely? That doesn't make great TV, just watching snow blow onto the camera!

Predictably, it appears that the snow amounts are going to be massively over-forecasted. I just saw some clips and there isn’t much snow and it’s not even coming down hard. Vehicles driving around pretty easily. They could have easily played the game. Ridiculous.

Yep. Saw another clip. Vehicles driving around all over the place on roads that don’t even appear to have been plowed. Typical. What’s next? Are they going to reschedule playoff games if the sun gets too bright and might be hard for fans to see well without sunglasses while driving to the game?

Snow games are awesome. Drew had such a tremendous arm.

Snow games are awesome. Drew had such a tremendous arm. He really did. Those WSU games in Martin Stadium in the early 90’s are my favorite football memories as a spectator. Loved those teams.

I know this is a Vikings issue and not an NFL issue, but will this become a trend that other teams/stadiums follow?
I've been going to games a long time and I don't buy anything in the stadium as my group has always tailgated but imagine taking your kids or entertaining clients and these are the options presented to you. I could be wrong, but I wonder how long it will take to reverse this when concession revenue is down. As always the comments are pretty funny.

food aside, I fail to see how keeping great players on the field, and those players healthy, is a bad thing.

food aside, I fail to see how keeping great players on the field, and those players healthy, is a bad thing. It’s a bad thing because the level of physicality and violence that made the sport great has been all but taken away. If you just want to see everyone stay healthy, watch a chess match. No one ever gets hurt in those.
