I can't believe I am going to say this but did we underestimated Rex Ryan as a coach? I thought the Jets would get better NOT worse with him gone.

This isn't really the proper thread for the ensuing comment, but I want y'all to think about this:
This team beat the Ravens.

Thank you Sheldon Richardson for keeping the joke known as the jest going. if the Jets cut Shelly Richardson tomorrow, which they very well may do, think the Pats pick him up because they have a strong locker room and have cap space?

From Yahoo.com: The New York Jets have looked disinterested in football for a few weeks, and now they’re pointing fingers at each other.
After a brutal 41-3 loss to the New England Patriots, defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson called out receiver Brandon Marshall but refused to get specific.
“He should be embarrassed,” Richardson said, according to the New York Daily News.
After being pressed on why Marshall should be embarrassed, Richardson said, “There’s no reason.” Then he went on.
“He knows what he did,” Richardson said, according to the Daily News. “It’s cool, bro. … It’s irrelevant. Scratch that comment.”
Richardson was criticized for a viral Snapchat video this week, and Marshall was also critical of him. Perhaps that led to the ill will from Richardson. The Daily News caught up with Marshall after Richardson’s comments.
“I know one of the things that he’s always said to me is he wants me to make more plays,” Marshall said. “So that’s the only thing I can think of.”
Marshall, who has never made the playoffs in 11 NFL seasons, had two catches for 28 yards on Saturday.
The Jets are 4-10 and have lost games by 31, 21 and 38 points over the last four weeks. They’re terrible on the field, and now the locker room seems to be falling apart too.

A Patriots win would tie the Jets as the only AFC East teams with super bowl records over .500

In fairness, the Patriots picked up two guys with DUI problems last year. Alan Branch shut down opponents' running games all year. Michael Floyd (.21 blood alcohol level, his second DUI) filled in admirably in the Miami game, which sealed home field advantage at the time.
