Looks like Harris Mason and Owenu could be back! Need to get the run game going and protect Mac Daddy. Harris back at practice today, Onwenu is procedural at this point, Mason is the only question. I love that Cajuste got a start in, he should be an option at RT IMO, guy just rag dolls people.

Revenge game for Nick Folk. He was drafted by the Cowboys in 2007. Pick 178.

Dallas might have the most complete team in the NFL right now, especially on offense. Quality and depth at RB, WR, TE. Dak is playing well as a passer. I see a lot of zone on defense, since we don't have the horses to man up with Dallas' skill position players. Maybe put JC on Cooper. on paper, seems we are outmatched on defensive side vs. Dallas Off. Unsure if Patriots offense can put up enough points; especially w/ Red Zone woes. Defense need to step up; whether playing zone or man-to-man - and keep game close - to give Mac and Offense a chance to win.
Looking forward to see what BB dials up on defensive side of ball.
This is the type of game that earned BB his GOAT status. If the D can hold the Cowboys to fewer than 23 pts, the Pats have a chance to win.

I hope we can beat Dallas, this could be a turning point in the season if we can put it together in all 3 phases.
BB always says that ''you need 6 games to tell what kind of team you are''.

No one can coach them up like BB but IMO holding Dallas to 23 with our current D at this point isn't realistic IMO. I actually think holding Dallas under 30 is a viable game plan. Dallas' D isn't all that great. I think a more realistic way to win is hold Dallas under 30 and outscore them by unleashing our offense a bit more. Later in the year our D might gell more but I think asking them to hold this team under 23 right now is a bit much, unless we get a weather game or injuries on their side. If we settle for field goals too much we lose this one.

I will not be surprised if this defense does a better job stopping Zeke than they do containing Pollard. Kid is very dynamic catching pass out of the backfield and can still run it tough also! Think the D plays to competition like they did with the Bucs and not what we saw last week.
I don’t see the Pats winning unless we win the turnover battle by about +2 and score after those turnovers. I really hope to see this offense progressing more this week, if we can get another game out of Henry like last week, limit some of those big drops like Meyers had on that one play and not fumble the ball in the red zone, we can compete.

This game is going to require something from our offense. Dallas' D isn't that great. In terms of matchups from the Patriots side, our offense against their D is the better matchup. Dallas is averaging 40+ points per game the last few games. Holding them under 30 is actually pretty good stastically.
Expecting the D to hold Dallas to 23 points while we trot out the field goal unit like we did against the Texans isn't going to work.

I don't see any particular weakness in Dallas's offense. BB and staff have to figure out how to generally slow Dallas down, but it may not be easy. Balanced offenses tend to beat New England.
Dallas's defense only has one weakness: their linebackers can't cover tight ends. I look for Macbook to toss short over the middle, especially to Henry and Smith, for most of the day. It gets first downs and that keeps the defense fresh.
New England should be looking one or two points better with every week in October because they started September playing lots of free agents and rookies. This team's strength is its ability to play chess and that skill always takes time to learn well. I generally don't want to sell the Pats short in October, but then again this is Dallas.

Nice comeback win against Texans, but the Patriots will need the play flawless to beat the Cowboys. need TDs and not FGs, and Harris needs to stop fumbling in the red zone.
If BB can shut down Brady, he should be able to shutdown Prescott.
Dak presents a different set of problems because of his mobility - and his ability to throw the ball more accurately than Tom deep downfield. Got to contain him in the pocket, and stop the run. If the OL decides to earn their paychecks this week, the Patriots should be able to put up some points against the Dallas defense. But unfortunately, that's a big if.

Will the Patriots wear their white uniforms this Sunday to make the Cowboys wear their dark blue uniforms? I like the Patriots white more than the blues anyway.

But I do wish the Patriots would revert back to silver pants, that full blue is ugly.

What is this team's offensive identity? We expected a run heavy team. But due to OL and fumbles, that hasn't materialized.
My guess is we let Mac sling it against the Cowboys, especially if Diggs is not 100%.

Maybe it looks entirely different in December but in the here and now it looks like Mac needs to carry the offense on his back. He isn't getting much help. If our OL was respectable and our RB's could hold onto the ball we'd be in a drastically different position right now.

Why does it matter what color Dallas wears? Is it supposed to be hot or something? Temperature reasons no. But forcing bathe Cowboys to wear a uniform that they don’t like or isn’t very familiar to them may give the Patriots a slight psychological advantage. Right now the Patriots need every advantage they can get. My guess is that Bill Belichick, who has been know to study how blades of grass lay on a playing field will at least give the uniform issue some thought. Besides that, the Patriots are undefeated this season in the heir white uniforms. Besides, I am going to to be game so I am curious.
