Yeah but Wozzy help us out here. You also went to bat for the 2019 and 2020 group of pass catchers. You said they had plenty of talent. You were obviously wrong, no? Went to bat? Plenty of talent? I said Jakobi Meyers had Mohamed Sanu type talent... is that me saying he was a stud? That he was an all-world talent? Saying someone has "good" not "great" talent, has the ability to make plays in the slot isn't saying they're amazing. Look at Meyers now, look at him in the games leading up to the Cleveland game in 2019 where Brady had him benched for Sanu... he was a good player then and now. Brady was dealing with a foot injury, a torn MCL (we know now) and hurt his throwing elbow in the KC game by the end of 2019... that's why they struggled offensively. Brady made Brandon Lafell relevant, he could have done the same with his clones. That offense was wracked with injury, injuries at O-Line led to injuries to Brady. Magic QB's don't win rings, teams do. I'm over 2019, I don't obsess over it anymore more than our last QB. It's 2021, about time we all moved on and learn to enjoy the process. This is closer to 2001 than 2019.

RFLMAO. I include RFLMAO because I’m laughing my ass off at your crying whining meaningless drivel posts. It has nothing to do with anything other than that. I did NOT say the Patriots have no weopons, nor do any of your cherry-picking data points prove anything. Again, the offensive off season acquisition have under performed. Their respective resumes of past performance with other teams MEANS DIDDLY SQUAT. I’m much more interested in their actual performance and productivity WITH THE PATRIOTS. No one said their individual talent disappeared. No one said they can’t improve as individuals or as a team. But the fact is that, collectively, they are NOT producing TDs and executing in the Red Zone. They are currently ranked 3rd from last. They are 2-4; regardless of the excuses, justifications, and rationalizations on why. Doesn’t matter. Still 2-4. Only the team, coaches, players can change with execution. It’s not going to change because of what you posted or because of how you feel about you’re own lame uneducated posts Burp... You're just careening in the wind at this point. Not really. At end of day literally nothing you posted validates anything. Their current state of being 2-4 is what it is. The off season acquisitions past productivity means diddly squat. What is more significant is what their productivity is WITH THE Patriots. And poor Red Zone metrics is an accurate reflection of the teams collective productivity. It’s up to the players to produce on the field to prove their worth. Again you can post all the cherry picked data points, excuses, rationalizations that you want. Red Zone productivity is horrible and their record is still 2-4; despite your crying and whining

Hunter Henry previously led the entire NFL in TE touchdown catches, he didn’t lose his talent around the goal line in 2021 just so you could make a point on PFFF.net.

I have said, that the offense collectively has sucked in the Red Zone; as evidenced by their CURRENT red zone ranking of #29 and as reflected by their 2-4 record. Do you have a reading comprehension issue?

ROFLMAO...hilarious that you think your meaningless data points taken out of context are legit. Noone is trying to change your mind about anything....so, wrong again. Yeah… the entire league and media were in cahoots into fooling you that Henry and Jonnu were the two best TE’s on the free agent market… they sure fooled us. NFL.com or somebody called Meyers a top 15 WR… I laughed at it but it certainly is better than not good. You don’t remember what we’re arguing about at this point, good time to tap out.

ROFLMAO Again, who is arguing? Noone. Again, is the current offense playing lights out? Is the team 4-2? Is their Red Zone offense ranking consistent with a 4-2 record?
Nope. The team is 2-4, the current red zone ranking is #29 - and is consistent w/ their current record of 2-4. Pretty consistent with my perspective that the offense is performing below expectations. Again, noone has said that players are talentless or have lost their talent.
Again, who GAF what "the entire league" and "media" has said before Game 1, or what these free agents did with OTHER teams. NOBODY GAF. LOL.
And, Meyer has 0 TDs not only THIS season, but for the past 3 seasons. Amazing. LOL. We're not talking about hopes of what he can become. We're talking about his productivity on the team right now. 0 TDs.

I think team needs 1 great route runner/catcher/yac AND 1 TE who can win majority of 50/50 balls and/or use body correctly in Red Zone. The team currently does not have any players that meet that description. Crap Red Zone offense since 2019 is strong evidence for that. So you didn’t say this ^ Good to know, I guess your account was hacked. “I never said that,” we have a pandemic of people saying stuff they don’t mean.

I read fine. LOL....again conveniently taking a data point out of its proper context. So, you're reading comprehension is NOT fine. The context of the discussion was that I stated that the team needs 1 WR who can produce like Edelman AND a TE who can produce like Gronk....and another TE or FB who can help protect QB and run block (like Develin). I also referenced the 2018 team as the last time the Patriots had a respectable Red Zone Offense ranking. There is CURRENTLY no players who are currently producing like Edelman, Gronk, and Develin AS EVIDENCED BY THEIR 2-4 RECORD AND ABYSMAL RED ZONE RANKING.
I have NOT claimed that the acquisitions have no talent. I have NOT claimed that the acquisitions can't improve. I have not claimed that the offense can't improve in the Red Zone.
At the end of the day, you're WRONG and just can't admit it. You're basically LYING and claiming that I've made certain claims when I haven't. Noone said that the current acquisitions CAN'T attain the productivity of Edelman or Gronk. I said that to date, there is very little ROI from the off season acquisition apart from Judon.
What you're trying to convey is that more time is needed to work out various factors (coaching, mental errors, inexperience with Pats offensive scheme, new QB, new players playing with new QB). Literally, NOONE has argued otherwise. In fact, I've already said as much outside and apart from our discussion.
Perhaps you should re-read all of my posts collectively to better understand context.

I have too much respect for Wozzy to press the point that he shouted from the rooftops for 2 years that we had plenty of talent at pass catcher....even though we had the worst talent at pass catcher. Then Bill brought in all new talent at pass catcher, Wozzy didn't waver LOL. He even believed in Asiasi and Keene last year. BB has seldom made a move that Wozzy disagrees with. He bought a bottle of BB Ball washer fluid on E-Bay...overpaid too. Didn't bother him.

"You are what your record says you are." Bill Parcells Lets can all this "moral victory" garbage. Remember - all these close games that the Patriots are losing are being played in Gillette Stadium - not on the road. Isn't it time that Steve Belichick be re-assigned to equipment manager? Someone who knows what he's doing and is respected by the players needs to take charge over the Patriots' regressing secondary. thank you for the Stevie comment

This has already thoroughly dismissed above, saying Jakobi Meyers is as good as Sanu or Lafell isn’t saying he is the next coming of Randy Moss… no matter how you try to reframe it. In 2019 Brady got hurt… something you forgot and when reminded of it you literally pretended it didn’t happen. In 2020 Cam sucked, you and Rkarp are the only people on the planet who disagree. I never said the weapons talent was anything more than adequate, that even average receivers will catch well thrown balls and run with them. You have respect for me, but not enough to prevent you from lying outright about my position.
