Between the coaching, the untimely fumbles, the costly penalties, the poor play by entire units, EVERY SINGLE GAME. This team can’t win against good teams, always coming up short and even average teams beat us, plus we can barely beat bad teams. Both sides of the ball suck and when both sides can be good they can’t be good at the same time or be good at the end of the game.
I’ll still watch, but my hope this team will actually pull out the victory is absolutely zero. This season is gonna be tough to watch and their is only hope for the future.
This team has its moments, but they aren’t good. They’re not even average.

Crappy and predictable play calling as well.

They need to stay healthy, block better, reduce turnovers and keep improving.

This is a rebuild. I am looking at year 3 for MAC. Next year maybe wildcard. This year 8-9 or 7-10.

In hindsight, signing and expecting Trent Brown to be a starting Tackle was a big blow.

I actually think you are being optimistic, looking at the remaining schedule, it is hard to see more than 4 more wins, the Jets next week, ATL on Thursday night, and the last 2 games of the year against Jax and Miami, maybe they can get by Indy on the rd, that makes the Patriots 7-10, best record I can see at this point So the question has to be, how hard to try to be 7-10? 5-12 would get the Patriots much better draft picks in every round, this team is in rebuild mode, whether they want to admit it or not, will they do what they SHOULD have done last year, lose lots of games, stock up lots of high draft picks, and rebuild through the draft?

Not a great football team, it’s obvious on both sides of the football. Run defense average. Offensive line awful. Wide receivers average (at best). Tight ends non existent. Junno Smith??? Oh my lord! This guy is a non factor every single week. And his blocking isn’t great either.
Football team with a great head coach=what you’ll see every week here now, who knows?

Agholor has been a huge bust. Henry has done some things ok here and there but no consistency. I mean the guy has never had 700 yards in a season. Frankly the skill players are overrated. This team needs a number 1 and they don’t have it on this roster.

Play calling blows too. Bad football team with a great head coach=what you’ll see every week here now. The crazy thing about this team right now is that they don’t have a ton of cap space in 2022. I mean it’s in the 20s . It’s crazy to think because where are the high paid players on this team? Where?

A great head coach, but one whose best days may very well be behind him, a coach who may only be coaching to assure the jobs of his 2 sons.

I don't think this team has much chance of making the playoffs, but honestly I'm enjoying watching it more than I've enjoyed watching recent Patriot teams. I just have a good feeling we're building something for the future now. Last year was just a filler year and the last couple of years Brady was here I was anxious for them to move on to the future. I've been a Patriots fan since the 1970s. What we witnessed in the Brady years was an aberration, not the norm. I get a sense that a lot of younger fans don't understand what football is most of the time. It isn't being a dynasty. It's having to scrape and scrap for every win.

These free agent acquisitions on offense have been disappointing to say the least.

Whoa, did the Pats play a double-header today and I missed the game where they got blown out? The game I saw had the Pats take one of the better teams in the NFL into overtime.

These free agent acquisitions on offense have been disappointing to say the least. I remember whole decades where if the Pats made it to a single playoff game we'd be ecstatic. I'm okay with a couple of years of struggling to get to the playoffs. It's the reality for most teams most of the time.
