That's old. Rouse played for Oklahoma last season, opposite Tyler Guyton. He looked much better than that.

I'm familiar with him, but thanks for sharing. When it comes to draft analysts, I like Daniel Jeremiah and Dane Brugler the best. A few years back, I had some dialogue with former Bears College Scouting Director Greg Gabriel (he even sent me some scouting materials! Good dude!), and I believe I remember him saying something to the effect of those two dudes are the best in the business, and that kind of stuck with me. It makes sense given that Jeremiah is a former scout, and one of the lead dudes on the NFL network, and Brugler runs the scouting/draft operation for The Athletic, putting together "The Beast", which is the biggest, most in-depth online draft guide you'll ever see. Brugler has Maye mocked to NE. I like it. Hope he’s correct.

That's old. Rouse played for Oklahoma last season, opposite Tyler Guyton. He looked much better than that. The kid is very good at picking up overloads on his side. He does not get rattled when he unexpectedly has to deal with two pass rushers himself. The first time I noticed him was on their game-winning TD play versus TX. Here is a video. You can just fast-forward to the game-wining play. Watch him punch the guy rushing around to his left while his right hand is locked onto the chest of another pass rusher. Most other guys would let that extra pass rusher go, given it's not their fault that their scheme did not account for that extra rusher.

Bad news. But I’m not at all surprised. I think the Skins are going to take Maye. I’ve been vocal about that. I think all the Daniel stuff was just smoke.

THANK YOU PETE CARROLL OF GM'S!!! Redskins fans are chanting "BEAST MODE! BEAST MODE! BEAST MODE!" (Jayden Daniels) AND end up getting a pick-play slant to Ricardo Lockette (Drake Maye) instead. Haha

There might be several factors here: one is Daniels agent publicly complaining about Washington's decision to have a ton of QB's in for 1 meeting this week and the rumors that Jayden now prefers the Patriots. The other is just me speculating, but it could be simply bettors taking the Maye bet after it fell a ton in terms of value.

They have a lot of the same skill, and are the same age.

Maybe they think he’s more handsome. I don't understand these subconscious leanings. I think Bo Nix, Jordan Travis, Joe Milton, and Penix will not be any worse than they will be. Maybe better even. All I know is you could not sack Nix, Penix, Jordan or Milton if your life depended on it. That is extremely valuable to me.

The one thing I see from all the reports is that of the top 5 QB's, there is no real consensus. To me, that means trade down and try to load up on 2024 1st and 2nd rnd picks, and 2025 1-3rd round picks. Draft a QB this year expecting them to not be "the man", but more importantly, fill the holes over a 2 year period. To summarize, use the uncertainty at the top of this draft to assemble ammunition over the next 16 months to jump into contention.

Travis Jordan and Joe Milton were about 1 sack every 23 dropbacks.
Penix was 1 every 51.
Nix was 1 every 95!
JJM, Maye, Daniels, and Caleb were all down around 1 for 12 or 15 for negative plays!
