I've watched enough NFL football over the years in which the holy grail of a high draft pick rarely panned out as so many expect. I root for the players who play to win. Not for a loss to appease some fans' desires for a high draft pick. Well a #2 pick gives them an extra option or two I'm not saying getting a high draft pick will not do any good. It is that too many fans put too much credence in high draft picks to immediately solve a team's needs. We've seen more failures than successes and with this fan base, still drunk off the "dynasty" years, any lack of success with high draft picks will drive this place even nuttier! |
