To paraphrase something Tom Curran just said, beggars can't be choosy. Nobody is beating down our doors to come here. We have to take whoever we can get. It would seem it isn't just the fans who are a bit skeptical right now. What do we really know ? Nothing we know would stand up as evidence in a court of law lol. That said, there is a lot of smoke and circumstantial evidence painting a picture that guys aren't finding this an attractive place to come to. I don't accept any single report at face value, especially if it comes from one of the local known liars like Ben Volin. But when most of the non radio guys are all kinda telling the same story I suspect there is an element of truth in there somewhere. |

We know Foxboro is now Loserville and ownership had a chance to do something about it and has instead chosen to make it worse. That’s some of what we know. |

We know you are what your record says you are. And this guy is an embarrassment to his family. We know Foxboro is now Loserville and ownership had a chance to do something about it and has instead chosen to make it worse. That’s some of what we know. Like i mentioned I feel they hired him because of his QB evaluation. That's something Bedard is saying too. He is supposedly very good at offensive talent evaluation. I wasn't really looking at it from this angle. If he does nothing more for us than help us hit on our QB pick he'll earn his pay check for the year…and the next five years lol. |

I wasn't really looking at it from this angle. If he does nothing more for us than help us hit on our QB pick he'll earn his pay check for the year…and the next five years lol. Van Pelt and McAdoo both worked for Mike McCarthy (for a period they were both together on the Packers' coaching staff), so there's also a likelihood that Van Pelt had some input into McAdoo's hiring, and the two feel comfortable working together in tandem to build the offense. |

Everything I am reading about McAdoo tells me that he is an excellent talent evaluator. As a HC, not so much.
I'm fine with that. If he simply identifies and the Pats draft the next franchise QB then this hire was worth it.
If not, WTF knows?
