But, I do know FSU and Johnny Wilson is most definitely not a tight end. Not at FSU and no way he’s a pro tight end. Not a good one anyway. He couldn’t block me. Good receiver but he’s had a few bad drops. Runs real well for his size. Coleman is a nice receiver. Kind of reminds me of Demaryius Thomas. Well built and fast. Returns punts, pretty well too. Especially for a guy with some size. Why isn’t Will Shipley from Clemson listed among the RBs? Guy is great at least against FSU. Kills them every year. Can catch it and run. Tough kid, maybe not the fastest but all around good back. I also know this, I don’t want any more 6’1 or shorter QBs. I don’t care how many yards he has, or how athletic he is, blah, blah, effing blah. I want a strapping 6’4 guy with big bones, a howitzer and an attitude. Athletic, sure, great, honestly I don’t really care. Can he read the defense and make the right decisions and all the throws. Not just some of the throws when he plants his feet just so but all of them regardless. I think I just described Drew Bledsoe… well you know what, a young Drew Bledsoe would look pretty good right now. Then again Drew didn’t always make the right decisions, did he? He had everything else though. Maye is that guy. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/breaking-down-north-carolina-quarterback-drake-maye/ar-AA1huZtO

PS - it's sad i am looking forward to next season, that says this season is a top 5 draft pick type of year? I don’t think sanders is a top 5 QB. Ewers is not getting hype. I like him as a QB. Above average arm strength. Two possible explanations for that: 1) NFL teams are probably looking for QBs who demonstrate success throwing at high volume. He has not thrown a lot of passes. They do not rely on his arm. Not his fault but it is what it is. 2) Announcers just talked about a team psychologist working on Ewers' fear of failing. Sounded it was causing anxiety that gets in the way of performance. Perhaps scouts around that team know about it and are concerned. He's playing well right now (Q2), but he threw two INTs earlier. That means he has 11 TDs vs 3 INTs for the year.

The guy I noticed watching OK drive the length of the field for a TD was their LT.
#75 Walter Rouse, listed at 6-6, 322

What about JJ McCarthy from Michigan at QB he could come out? He said him and the kid from Texas would be his next two at the moment In that case, IMO Jayden Daniels of LSU is the most underrated on the QB class.

Don't know. Bo Nix another Pac-12 QB to watch. That said, there are some good ones from other conferences too. Someone mentioned Maye. He's lagging a bit statistically this year. Not sure if that means anything for the NFL. FWIW, I think he and Daniels are the only ones among the stat leaders who is listed above 6-3. Jayden Daniels is starting to build together some good stats. I saw a quarter of their loss to Ole Miss. He did not look bad. I thought there was something to build on. However, to me he looks so skinny. I guess that does not have to be a problem for QB (at least that's what TB taught us) I will try to check out Brady Cook (Missouri) next weekend. The kid so far has 11 TDs and 0 INTs. LSU will be a good test. Just saw 2nd half of LSU vs Missouri game. I did not see anything from Brady Cook offers something that could make the Pats better than they can be with Mac. Not even sure he can make the Pats better than Zappe can. Also, if I were him, I would not want the Pats picking him. He would be known the the fans as the bad Brady.

I am just waiting to see how he builds on his last year's performance. That said, I already said that I do not want the Pats spending a Rnd 1 on a QB. I don't believe there is no such thing as a can't miss QB in this class. Unfortunately, I expect Maye to be drafted in R1. I believe he is the top QB among teams looking to draft a "traditional" pocket QB. And there not many of that type of QB anymore. I just do not expect the Pats to have a shot at him unless they spend an R1.

QB He ran more than I would want a QB to. He was very effective doing it. And he absolutely had to because his protection was not good and Nabers was being covered really well. He is slender - as in tiny hips (does not pass Muzz's criteria set) - so he is not going to last if he takes hits in the NFL. Today he got hurt on a play where he scored on TD with his legs. It was clearly a broken pass play that he had to salvage. He succeeded. Bottomline: He he keeps doing that in the NFL, he's going to give his team's fans a lot of heart attacks. My favorite quality of his? His composure.

Maye and UNC look awful early.
Texas loses 34-30 to Oklahoma. Got outcoached today.

Maye and UNC look awful early. Texas loses 34-30 to Oklahoma. Got outcoached today. Maye just missed a receiver who was wide open for a TD. He is still raw, but not as raw as Josh Allen was coming out of college. There are skill sets and tools he has that none of our current qbs will possess if they peak. In a league focused heavily on passing, you need weapons on offense both behind center and in the skill positions. However, you can’t win an arms race if you have the worst arm in the league.

Maye looked good on this drive which he finished w a TD pass (first of Q2). Pass velocity looked good. Good decision making - particularly on the second to the last pass of that drive. Could not find an open receiver past the first down marker so he settled for a check down to a RB (I think) who earned the last few yards for a first down.

I can see them getting a huge haul from a qb needy team if they end up with 1-2.

Throwing another name in the mix. Va Tech RB Tuten (not gonna try his first name, begins with a B). James White sized guy, runs hard, catches it very well. Him and the QB running the ball are 90% of their offense and they’re hanging in there. Against FSU.
