Weather update: 19 mph is the average forecasted wind speed, out of the southeast, with about a 25% chance of a shower each hour. I wouldn't be surprised to see 30-40 mph wind gusts. San Diego is going to have to defend against the run.

Don't know how rain impacts that stuff that the Patriots play on. It seems to me that bad weather favors the Chargers. The Patriots could have issues against the run too, playing without DT Malcolm Brown, Hightower, and with Lawrence Guy dinged up.

They are in my lifetime the best bad weather team in the NFL. Since the Belichick/Brady era begun I can only remember one loss in really bad weather.

Interior of Chargers line very young and inexperienced. Pats got to take advantage of that. Feeney making his 2nd start, Center and other Guard first year starters.
We'll see if Feeney is good tomorrow, I really liked him, and Pats were hoping he would fall to us at the 2nd round, from what I read.

It will all come down to whether the Patriots OL can protect the GOAT, and open up some lanes for their RBs against a very good Chargers' front seven.

That we can agree on the Chargers defensive front is very good but much, much better against the pass than the run. IF the weather is as bad as some are predicting, especially the wind we could see a season high snap count for Devlin with the stable of RB's getting the majority of the touches. The wind will be the determining factor of how the Pats Approach this game offensively. I've seem wether models where the weather doesn't come into play until around 3:00 but who knows.

The great equalizer for Road Teams is the Turnover from Home Teams.
